Historia
When I was 17, I disappeared. I walked out the door of my apartment with a backpack and never looked back. I left the life of Cora Mitchell behind, seeking freedom from my real-life nightmare. But my freedom came with a cost. I lived a fictitious life for the next six years, never letting anyone close enough to see underneath the façade that was Andra Walker. I was content with my simple little life. Until I met Julian.

Disappointing ending
Revisado: 09-19-21
I did not realize this is one in a series of books. the story was good and kept me listening. However. I scored it down because it suddenly ended and many holes were left. I haven't decided if I'll get the next book...mainly because I don't want the same issue.

Historia
As a doctor, I walk a dangerously delicate balance of being compassionate but not overly invested. The same is true in my personal life - love is a luxury I can’t afford. It isn’t until Dr. Westin Grant breaks down all my walls and offers me a future, I find myself wondering if I’m brave enough to risk my heart. When who I was and who I’ve tried to become collide during my clinical trial, the fate of one patient changes everything.

waste of time
Revisado: 09-03-21
I love a good story, and I'm easily entertained. But this book was a huge disappointment. I forced myself to finish it and wish I could get the time back. The story was just way too unrealistic - from a doctor who still has her life decisions revolve around a 14 yr old relationship, spends hours with a single patient just to chat, and commits egregious medical fraud all in the name of the 14 yr old relationship. THEN her boyfriend, a fellow doctor covers for her. spoiler alert - nothing happens...she goes on with a normal life. the main character is a self-absorbed, whiney, narcissistic woman who lives in a pity party. the only redeeming point, if there is one, is that the performance by the reader is pretty good. don't waste your time on this one. Enjoy a walk instead.

Historia
Beth Montgomery seems to have the perfect life: a beautiful house in the hills above Los Angeles, a handsome, ambitious husband, and plans of starting a family. So it doesn't occur to her to worry when the news breaks of a quadruple homicide across town, a botched drug deal that leaves an undercover officer among the dead. Beth certainly would never think to tie the murders to the sudden reappearance in her life of wild, sexy Cassie Ogilvy, the estranged best friend she hasn't seen since they were college roommates.

too many narrators
Revisado: 07-21-21
I realize why they tried so many narrators but I found it distracting. I also feel that introducing each chapter disrupts the flow of the story when narrated. I just could not get into this style but the story was pretty good.

Historia
A bonding adventure goes horribly wrong in this gripping story of trust, survival, and motherly instincts. Karla and her stepdaughter Olivia are alone on a remote family camping trip when news of a mysterious outbreak in nearby San Francisco begins to trickle in. With little information to go on, the two women must identify the biggest threat to their safety: the supposedly deadly virus, the stranger who stumbles into their campsite, or each other.

Weird
Revisado: 07-18-21
The performance is odd...more like readers theater with multiple performers but tried to convey distance ...for example, if someone walked away the voice became very faint. However then as a listener, you couldn't hear and follow the story. It was annoying as it was frequent, especially when the step mother and step daughter were fighting which is frequent. Story drags and the step daughter character is too annoying. Not enjoyable. Did not even finish...gave up after 45 min

Historia
Xavier Blackwood is the man every girl at my college dream about at night, myself included, but I'd never let anyone know that. Standing at 6'8" with steel grey eyes, he's a walking dream, but he's also a world-renowned a-hole. Who would have thought that one night, after dragging myself home after doing double shifts at the diner, I'd be jumped by three men...only to have Xavier come to my rescue.

Don't start unless you want 5 books
Revisado: 06-29-21
If you want to spend the credits or money on all 5 books then the story could be good. otherwise, don't start it. each book is just a few chapters of a whole. no single book stands alone as it's not a whole story. very disappointing as I've never had this happen before. lesson learned.

Historia
I must have been cursed from birth...and that is becoming clearer with every passing day. My ankles are swollen from the chains around them, my tongue feels like sandpaper, and the dripping water in the jail cell beside mine is so close, yet so far away. For the first time in werewolf history, two wolves have the same mate. The same woman was blessed by their goddess to be their partner for eternity, and I’m that woman.

too short
Revisado: 06-29-21
I've done 3 of the books in the series. they are slow to build and once the story starts, it ends. very short (4 hrs) ...one story broken into 5 books to make you pay more. not worth the cost as one book doesn't cover a story. none stand alone as it's just a few chapters of an eventual book if you buy all 5. highly disappointed and feel ripped off. won't buy more by this author (it could have been really good as one book)

Good storyline
Revisado: 04-13-21
Keeps you wondering as to whom the bad guy is. Entertaining and easy listening. Not too graphic even though it's a murder mystery with morgue scenes.
