This version of the NASB is very well done. I bought the other version by Made for Success and it had many errors. This is the version you want as it is complete.

This is a powerful and encouraging book for the Church of Christ in our times. Any Christian who has a heart longing for more of Christ, and the presence of Christ permeating our culture will resonate with what Mark Sayers has written here.

Dr. Guinness has provided for us in this volume, an important reminder about the true nature of freedom, the source of freedom, and a warning concerning the direction America is currently headed. His arguments are cogent and clear. The books is well written and enjoyable to both read and to listen to.

This is easily one of the most insightful books I have read on the state of the modern evangelical movement. It is a clear charge to return to biblical fidelity and the centrality of Christ. I highly recommend it.

I very much enjoyed this book. The author did a solid job of articulating his position. I especially appreciated the appeals to historic Christian theology and Western philosophy. Those are helpful connections to make. I was encouraged and can certainly recommend this to others who want to consider the issues we face today from a Christian worldview.

Trueman has great skill at synthesizing ideas and ordering them in such a way as to make them accessible to others. Here he takes some important ideas of some of the most prominent thinkers of the past several hundred years who have influenced our culture and boils them down in such a way that makes it easy for anyone to understand. The book does contain some technical academic language, but anyone with a basic understanding of humanities and philosophy should be able to engage with this book very well. As someone with degrees in philosophy and theology, I truly appreciated Trueman's approach here. I found his work helpful for my own organizing of philosophical ideas I have been exposed to over the years.

This book is so timely and so very good. Andrew is a great communicator and a strong visionary. I plan to buy a copy of this book for each of my church elders.

Francis is a wonderful communicator. I'm a pastor/church planter myself and he describes what my heart has always hoped could be true in the American church. I feel very challenged by this work, but hopeful too. With Jesus' help we can do this!

This book is efficiency beautiful in its ability to capture the heart with a vivid image of what true Christian discipleship must look like in any age. Willard handles his subject with the skill and prowess of the greatest of the philosophers, yet with the depth and wisdom of the greatest of the theologians. This is well worth your time to listen to/read as it will challenge you like few other books can.

Very well done. A great book with well produced audio. I'm thankful for Pastor Cymbala's prophetic voice.
