Historia
In The Worst of You, just-wed architects Timo and Nia flee a murder scene, setting in motion a chain reaction of lies and betrayals that threaten to unravel everything they have built together. Twisted and propulsive, this thriller is told from the alternating perspectives of the couple and those close to them on Williwaw Island, each with their own motive to use the outcome of the murder case to their advantage. When a huge storm sweeps up the coast, trapping everyone on tiny Williwaw Island, it’s a race against time—and the elements — to stop the murderer from striking again.

AI performance horrible

First of all, the AI performance was really bad, you can't tell the difference between who is talking, hard to follow. And the story is just insane. Nothing makes scence

no knowledge of police procedures
Revisado: 03-25-24
Performance was ok but when voice of angry Greg was used it was awful. Also author should know that police would never interview an 8yo without a parent or an adult present and there were so many stupid moments like that that I was shocked. Story could have been 1/3 shorter.

Historia
Detective Angie Pallorino took down a serial killer permanently and, according to her superiors, with excessive force. Benched on a desk assignment for twelve months, Angie struggles to maintain her sense of identity—if she's not a detective, who is she? Then a decades-old cold case washes ashore, pulling her into an investigation she recognizes as deeply personal. Angie's lover and partner, James Maddocks, sees it, too. But spearheading an ongoing probe into a sex-trafficking ring while keeping Angie's increasing obsession with her case in check is taking its toll.

i couldn't finish, can't stand the voice
Revisado: 09-06-23
I listen to the 1st book and got thru but when getting next one totally forgot to check who is reading it, the voice is soooo drawn out , I can't stand it, stopping in the middle of the book. story could have been told in half the time, I seriously got thru 5 hours of it by skipping forward a lot and still could keep track of the events. then I told myself that I don't have to suffer thru it and I stopped. Will not listen to the next one even though I bought it.

Revisado: 08-21-23
I gave performance 1 star because there is no 0 starts. Book isn't worth listening because of the most awful narrator voice! I can do a better men voices then this person. I will NEVER get books with her performing. OMG I love this author and this is so sad that narrator ruined it completely!
