Historia
The wife is the “unexpected” abuser/reviler in a marriage. Biblically, the term “revile” speaks of the verbal aspect of mistreatment of others. It is a “non-contact” weapon in the arsenal of the bitter, controlling person. Both in society and in the Church, it is assumed that the husband is the one who reviles the wife, yet there is a growing trend where the opposite is the case. And this trend will continue to get worse as role confusion in marriage and relationships escalates in the modern world. Men in marriages where they are reviled feel alone, judged, and hopeless. Profoundly Blessed
Revisado: 09-09-24
My marriage of 37 years legally ended 6 months ago. Just heard about the book a week ago. I needed this book 37 years ago. Pastors and counselors need to read this book. More importantly, men in marriages such as this book addresses will be edified and profoundly blessed by this treatise.

Historia
If the church is going to use the Bible to decide whether divorce is legitimate in certain cases and whether divorced couples have the right to remarry with the approval and blessing of God’s people, then the Bible must be studied without prejudice toward a particular answer. The author examines the relevant passages in both the Old and New Testaments so that his listeners can consider the many issues and interpretations that arise in trying to establish a consistently biblical position.

Clear, concise, and Biblical presentation of considerations around marriage and divorce. A worthy read for all Christians on a topic that is too often avoided.

Authentic & thoughtful portrayal of perseverance
Revisado: 12-23-23
Third, and best story of a parallel trilogy provides an honest look at human nature within the context of the historical era. All 3 books speak truth without bashing or sugarcoating any side. I appreciate the diversity of each character and their development throughout as well as the perspectives shared through both the unique and shared events. I recommend reading all 3 books to receive the best value of the messages shared by each story.
