What a treat and great story telling
Revisado: 11-24-17
Few audio books keeps you suspended in the writer's world. This was the best book I've enjoyed for years. I hoped it would never end. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to venture into a world that maintains a balance of mystery and narrative that delights the reader from start to finish. Check it out.

Historia
In a future so real and near it might be now, something happens when women go to sleep: They become shrouded in a cocoon-like gauze. If they are awakened, if the gauze wrapping their bodies is disturbed or violated, the women become feral and spectacularly violent; and while they sleep they go to another place.... The men of our world are abandoned, left to their increasingly primal devices. One woman, however, the mysterious Evie, is immune to the blessing or curse of the sleeping disease.

A winner. The story line made to majic
Revisado: 09-29-17
Story line odd. But they made it work. Characters are believable . Hope they keep writing together. I'm sure Dad loved seeing this beauty, grow with someone he obvious adores. The Stand was my second love to read. 3 reads, at 17 yrs old. 1000 pages of excellence. Mark Twain my first. But S. Beauties blends character's that makes you escape and works smoothly. I wonder if anyone else could have made it work, more a labor of love. And It works, paces are smooth, and stays interesting. Seeing a photo of dad and son. There's magic to be made. Hope to hear their magic again and again. This is a talented interesting work. Give it a read,or listen. Marin Ireland also reads you into this pandemic world. A short story collaboration without saying who wrote what stories. Sounds like a dream read. Oh yes, Owen you come from good stalk. Keep us up with your talent. Like Dad and bro.

Historia
From electrifying horror author Nick Cutter comes a haunting new novel, reminiscent of Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian and Stephen King's It, in which a trio of mismatched mercenaries is hired by a young woman for a deceptively simple task: check in on her nephew, who may have been taken against his will to a remote New Mexico backwoods settlement called Little Heaven. Shortly after they arrive, things begin to turn ominous.

Historia
Uttered by the abusive father of a nine-year-old girl, that phrase ended Jack’s career as a police negotiator and has been haunting him ever since. Now that he is a struggling private detective, those words return with a vengeance when he inherits a mansion - and some terrifying information. Apparently Jack’s soul was sold at birth, and a devil will come to claim it on his thirty-third birthday just weeks away. It’s a hard pill to swallow, given that Jack doesn’t believe in hell (heaven, either).
