First, the narration is outstanding. But this is a complicated story.
A family tree is needed to track all the characters over the generations .
I also feel that I am missing a lot and the experience would be so much better if I had studied the book in school rather than just listening.

Yes, but be careful

This is a very comprehensive explanation of the causes and symptoms of acid reflux.
PPIs helped me after I had a very bad flare up recently.
I believe that COVID wrecked my gut.
My doctor suggested we try stopping PPIs because of long term affects.
I totally agree that the key is restoring the micro biome.
I would be nervous about adding HCL on your own however.
Work with a healthcare provider on this part.
I am now focusing on probiotics. I think it is working.
Very good book. Thanks.

Like so many, I picked up this book because on television Kelly is smart, funny and entertaining.
The essays presented here are long winded, rambling and personal. Kelly’s words, not mine.
Most of it was too personal. My words.
I look forward to when Kelly can tell her story without the contractual handcuffs that were obvious this time. That should be smart, funny and entertaining.
