Historia
The City of Inventions, Pallass, is a fascinating place. Filled with all kinds of oddballs from the named-rank [Alchemist], Saliss of Lights, to Grimalkin the [Sinew Magus], a drunken Dwarven master [Blacksmith], to Chaldion, to... Wyverns? Erin Solstice is on a break from her inn. Not for long; she's returning with more Skills, but she has changed. She will return with her usual chaos and wonder, but always differently. Now, there are flames and... a garden?

Fantasy
Revisado: 04-10-25
The scope of this story is magnificent. The interrelations of a braid and vast plot slowly weaving into one rope. Perfectly conveyed by the voice of Andrea Parsneau each little bit of this tale seems precious. I can not wait for more. Pirateaba is a shinning talent in this fantasy realm.

Bullets and kisses, mostly bullets.
Revisado: 04-02-25
Greaney does it again and so does the Gray Man. Epic and a romance only Court Gentry could have. All delivered by the most excellent Jay Snyder on narration. A great installment in the saga set into a contemporary canvas that will spark memories to come. Well done all around.

Historia
Van and his crew suspect there's more to the Equal Grasp than just a band of thieves, and they begin their campaign at Bopul Station, a lonely outpost where corruption rules and Peacemakers are feared. To continue the fight and the case, the crew and friends need more than just contacts. They need money. To that end, Van begins exploring an old mystery about his grandfather, which leads to the shocking discovery—the Earth is being stripped of its history, one object at a time, but that's not the main purpose of the criminals.

Another Epic installment in the tale of a space cop. The character development never ceases to pique my interest. The revisiting of things you thought may be forgotten a pleasant surprise.

Nice Moves
Revisado: 03-12-25
Chuck Rogers writes a great plot. This book is listenable and enjoyable, moving like a lean, trim action story and at times slowing the pace for the right kind of dalliance. The performance aspect and ambient noise take some getting used to as do the soundscape ideas such as having words “deep” in the sound around them. I don’t find it off putting nor do I think it was performed bad in any way. Quite the opposite. A great installment on an awesome series.

The story is entertaining and quick paced. Unique setting and ideas come together to tell the age old tail of the hero. The full production performance is also very cool. Overall very enjoyable.

Historia
From the halls of power in Washington to the vastness of space, the Guild moves closer to outright war as shifting alliances force everyone—including Van—to pick a side, take up arms, and fight. But there are ghosts out there in the black, and some of them carry secrets that Mark Tudor and Petyr Groshenko refused to reveal. In the expanse of his memory, Perry finds an ancient ship, and an even older war—and neither of those things have truly gone away.

An excellent addition into what has become an ongoing saga of excellent story telling imaginative situations and well played characters. The tie ins and call backs make you want to check out all the back stories and origin tales. Spoiler they are excellent too.

Goblins and gold.
Revisado: 11-25-24
Another exciting volume in this bad ass tale. Some how the author keeps me rapt in main characters I don’t really like. That’s the amazing part . They grow and become cooler then backslide. Realistic in that sense. Narrator is crazy good and the plots of this world are deep rivers flowing. Sweeping me along.

Historia
"No killing Goblins." So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours. It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

Breathtaking
Revisado: 11-10-24
Breathtaking. The literary devices and emotions they build and manipulate. The character developments and interrelationships. The performance. Every bit of it a feat of astounding grace and daring. I waited sometime to read/listen to this book and I’m so glad I finally did. Off to down load the second. I can’t say enough good things about this story, this author, this narrator.

Historia
The revelations Mark Tudor unearthed on Tactus Ares were profound. The Piraxians fell victim to the aggressive, expansionist Eridani Federation. That same confederacy funded and facilitated the Lyrae. They made Stillness. And the Guild was complicit. How does one bring exposure to something the galaxy at large would rather forget? And how does an honorable man remove corruption when its gravity consumes all? A plan is hatched in secret.
