I couldn't stop soon enough to write a review. it wouldn't let me write one for so long that I cringed through it. Sooo bad. It felt ick. With no proper inflection or or tone when narrating. I couldn't tell if someone was happy, sad, angry or excited, because the IA picked one and went with it. Usually the wrong way. The story felt picked apart from other stories and put together to get this one. Extra common phrases and overreactions make the eye twitch with the cringe. I don't remember the end as I just let it play out at the end so I could make sure to warn people how irritating this really is. It feels like an afront to real authors and real narrators everywhere. What real author would let their work use use such a horrible AI narrator? If this was actually a real author, They need to do much better. Where is the pride in their work that denies using narration that does nothing for their book? It takes even the so so writing and makes it sound extremely juvenile. The palms of my hand have Cresent marks still from stopping myself from turning it off repeatedly. You have no idea what I have done to help make sure to warn all of you about this travesty. I will just say, you are welcome.

The magical ending to the series.

I am so happy I kept going even through the rough spots. I was worried this would be something I would regret knowing the story of from beginning to end. I am relieved at how things unfold for everyone involved. I recommend this for the story, the narration, and memories made.

That it had nothing to do with the first 4 books.

The female lead was mislead and gaslighted into what the hero wanted and she was made to feel like his shady acts should be acceptable because he loved her right after they met. The seer said they should be together so she is an idiot for not wanting to be forced into something that always seems so shady to begin with. It says as the end that is ties into the other 4 books by their offspring being a side character later in their life. That is the only reason they think this would be a good book to this series. I'm not impressed. Disappointed really.

Nails on chalkboard narration

I love this series and have read every book, but as soon as I started this one, I was hit with such overall annoyance at the voices of my favorite characters that I couldn't pay attention. Not once did he say Maris's name right. Maries...? Seriously? Jem now has an Asian accent? No he doesn't. He has an English accent like his father. Jace sounds like he is always high and bored. Simon is bored, whiney and slow as a sloth. I wanted to smack him and tell him to wake up and get off the drugs. Magnus and Alec are fine. Hell the demons and Asian accents are great, but the main side characters we all love? Nope! I suggest reading the book over this. I had to stop and go back so many times, because I couldn't keep my attention on the story. It dragged on and I was so happy when I finally got to the end. My family and I all listen and we are all in agreement that this is the worst story to listen to. Please, please please, never do this to us again and have someone else who knows the characters redo this narration. This was so not worth the money. Any money. You should have paid me to have to sit through it. Don't say you weren't warned. They really let us all down with this one.

As always, a wholesome mystery oood enough for kids. Good narration and interesting story. Easy to follow.

Small town with a little crazy and Nancy's always down to earth. This is very mild and good for children. The narration was good and I would listen to more.

OMG, I laughed so loud so many times!

I can't say enough how funny these characters are. I have not heard a funnier book with a Minnesota accent with such a Minnasota/Canada personality. So innocent a person who figures out how to open up and be her own person by reading sexy words. She wants her neighbor and he is perfect for her. He is no slouch in the funny department either. I was driving when he told the story about his mom and I wanted to bowl over laughing. I had to slow down to the side of the road. I loved this book. More of these, Please!!! Narration was absolutely perfect. More of that too, Please! I want to read more from this author now. Thanks for that!

Not what I expected.

I am pleasantly surprised by this book. It got me in the feels and even got me laughing. I thought the narration was perfect for the characters and I'm wanting to revisit this town in the future to check up on them.

Way to much, to quick.

I appreciate the honesty about addiction. That was refreshing. My problem with this book is the immediate and annoyingly close love story that felt fake. I was not feeling involved with this relationship. Like it wasn't real when in books I want to believe it could be real. Almost juvenile. I enjoyed the rest of the story though. Good narration as well.

Not too deep, cute with little heat.

This didn't draw me in that much, but the characters were cute. It kept my attention enough, but I expected a bit more heat from the main characters compared to the side characters. Guessing this is more of another pathetic Heroine has barely to no experience and only gets to kiss. *sigh*
