Excellent start of a new (to me) genre

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I haven't read much in this genre, but I was pleasantly surprised. The narrator had a voice that didn't make me want to stop listening ( some do) and I really enjoyed getting to know the characters. As soon as I finished listening, I checked audible to see if the next book was available ( sadly, not). I did like that there wasn't any extremely graphic sex or swearing. I will be following this author to see what comes out next.

Not believable , Bad narrator

I had high hopes for this series, but after 5 hours of listening, I gave up. Narrator wasn't a good fit for this book. No change in voice for the characters. I will be returning this title.

Seriously too much overthinking

I am at chapter 25 and just can't take it anymore. The story line could have been better if the main characters weren't so wishy/washy. They constantly go back and forth on every decision . If it were just one of them, it might be possible to overlook but to have all three spend so much time trying to justify why the men in their lives should maybe be forgiven ( except one, there is no forgiveness for that) that you just want to throw your hands up . I hate to do this so far into a book, but I kept hoping it would get better. I will not be finishing this book because I just don't care.

Overly dramatic

I usually enjoy some angst and drama, but this was too much. Presley spent all her time sunk in how everything in her life had been hard. Yes, she had some seriously horrible stuff happen, but every single chapter was about how she was hurt. I honestly wanted this book to end sooner.

So many feels

This book is one of those that draw you in and then rip your heart out. The story of Jake and Cam's life from before she was born. It's hard to describe how well this book series flows but you are hoping that everything is a HEA. It is and isn't at the same time. You see them grow from little kids to adults and all that is in between. The friends that grow with them are integral to their story and their growth. This is a book that I will listen to over and over and I'm hoping the author's other books make it to audible.

Loooooooong road

I know quite a few reviewers are very happy with this book. However, it isn't for me. I listened for several hours before I just couldn't take anymore back and forth, her deep , dark secret and his angst over his past girlfriend with weight issues. I get you have to build up the drama , but it just went on and on. I won't be getting the rest of the books.

Characters are very bland

The main male character is too willing to be manipulated for the sake of his dream. He will let an ex dictate his life ( since he works for her dad) so he can make connections. The female is whining about her ex-fiancee and not trusting anyone but agrees to be a fake girlfriend. Then is surprised that he wants more. I've got hours into this book and can't finish it.

Crabby meets snarky

I have been a fan of Lucy Score for awhile now and usually get her books as soon as they come out. This one did not disappoint. I love the interaction between the H and h. I enjoy books where the two main characters are very good at verbal sparring. This book is humorous and entertaining. Well worth the credit if you like funny and quirky. Be aware that there are multiple fairly graphic sex scenes. If that makes you uncomfortable, this is probably not for you.

Way too long

I couldn't empathize with either main character. The h was very wishy washy and the H tolerated more than he should have.. Just can't recommend wasting the time.

So, I was looking at soon to be released books and found this series is being released again with a different narrator. So for those of you who have already purchased this series, it won't show that you already own it. Beware.
