Started this audiobook because I needed something to listen to while I got things done, however found myself so quickly drawn in to the fascinating plot and warm characters.
There were definitely times the main character made choices that drove me crazy, but on a much deeper level, found I actually appreciated the “humanity” and realism of it. Seems strange to say about a fantasy novel, but I look forward to the next book and hearing how the MC grows.
Were there bits that were predictable? Yes, but most books are and this one was well written. An absolute delight as a debut novel by Steinbrecher and found myself more caught off guard than figuring out what was to come.

And the narrator was absolutely tremendous. Well done!

This is such an amazing story, I loved the characters, they felt real. I loved the plot. I loved the characters growth and changes. It’s a must read!

I immediately purchased book 2. First, the audio by Ali Dane is superb. She offered this audiobook in exchange for a review, and I’m now a huge fan. She has a soft feminine voice that is not grating to the ears, as so many voices often are to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed her telling. The book itself is also stellar - I rarely give 5 star reviews, and this was so good. Enemies to lovers, slow burn, escaping a tragic past, forbidden love, and hopefully redemption in book 2… this book has it all! Highly recommended!!!

I'm a fan of the supernatural and all shifter stories and I found the author's idea of mixing a clan of wolves and powerful witches intriguing. The narrator did a fabulous job bringing the characters and storyline to life. As I listened to Emma Steinbrecher's spellbinding story, I became more and more hooked. I highly recommend this to all lovers of great story telling and great writing. I'm looking forward to the next book!

very well written book. enjoyed the mystery to the storyline, who is she, why is she important, what can she do, what happened to her parents, etc. the plot being revealed over time, keeping you intrigued with the characters and wanting to know more.

A clan of wolves is an amazingly well written book with relatible characters and emotions That readers of all ages can enjoy.

Ali dane turns a work of art into a masterpiece with her superb narration, and her smooth, and soothing voice.

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I haven't read much in this genre, but I was pleasantly surprised. The narrator had a voice that didn't make me want to stop listening ( some do) and I really enjoyed getting to know the characters. As soon as I finished listening, I checked audible to see if the next book was available ( sadly, not). I did like that there wasn't any extremely graphic sex or swearing. I will be following this author to see what comes out next.

I was absolutely enthralled from beginning to end. The performer read it perfectly, and I was so invested with each character and how the storyline brought it all together. A great read/listen. Loved it!

Couldn't finish this. The story line is rather predictable and the constant eroticism is distracting and quickly becomes tedious. If you want to read about romantic encounters nonstop, this is for you. If you want a rousing surprising fantasy adventure, I would pass on this one.
