I love these books. The story lines for the mystery’s and the cute small town antics are wonderful. But for the love of all please STOP promoting toxic family behaviors as a good thing! I have continued the series in hopes that the author would have Kate grow, and and develop boundaries with her awful family! I thought for sure what Louise pulled would of made the rat of the family disown he. Oh no, they jump in trying to decide her life. Does the author make that a breaking point where Kate says - no more? Nope she takes it , and just walks away! The whole family abuses her, and the author writes this as a GOOD thing. Make it STOP! Anyone in a toxic relationship of any kind would read these books and think being abused is just family loyalty………. These books should have warning labels!

It should be a rule. All books that leave on a cliff hanger with no next book should have a warning!!!!! Also this book wasn’t that long the author could have easily finished the book. authors who write books just so you’ll have to buy the next frustrates the crap outta me!

This cannot be the end of the series! Way too much left undone! The series is so worth reading, listening to. I enjoyed it immensely, the love story’s and heartache along the way are just perfection. I truly hope she plans a spin off!
