Historia
Think about your church for a moment. Is it growing? Is it diminishing? Is it somewhere in between? Acclaimed church leader, blogger, and founder and chief strategic officer of The Unstuck Group, Tony Morgan has identified the seven stages of a church's lifecycle that range from the hopeful and optimistic days of launch, to the stagnating last stages of life support. Regardless of the stage in which you find your church, it carries with it the world's greatest mission - to "go and make disciples of all the nations..."

Great Book. Fresh perspective.

This is a great book for anyone interested in the future of the Church. Tony does a great job outlining a method for keeping the local church fresh and effective. My favorite book on this subject.

A Thought-Provoking Parable with Engaging Insights
Revisado: 09-30-23
“The Vagrant” is a compelling parable, seamlessly weaving valuable lessons and reflective insights into a well-crafted narrative. This book really stuck with me, finding its way into my thoughts regularly—it’s clear that it has a powerful message and is incredibly engaging! Plus, the thoughtful questions at the end make for excellent reflection material, or even better, are great for team discussions.

The sample was promising. I was going to give up halfway through but then there was twist in the plot. I thought it would start getting better….it didn’t.

Actor Kelsey Grammer, best known for his roles in the TV sitcoms Cheers and Frasier, delivers Bitter Brew, a compelling mystery featuring Detective Bill Walsh, an upstate cop in the quiet, rural town of Beatriceville, 200 miles north of New York City, who suspects foul play in the death of millionaire city transplant Jonathan Kimball, even though the evidence points to suicide, not murder.

Lame
Revisado: 07-25-20
I want my credit and time back!
The book was fairly well written and I liked some of the wit and sarcasm. But, the storyline is just lame and far fetched.

Historia
Meggie Meyer, an anxiety-ridden debut author, can’t bear to face her upcoming book tour, but she can’t give up on her writing career just as it’s about to really begin. She comes up with a plan that’s so crazy, it just might work: She hires an actress to impersonate her for the two-week stint. Sloan Buchanan, the spunky aspiring actress, jumps at the opportunity to use her intensive acting method to sink into this unusual role, and the line between her and her character quickly begins to blur. And Rachel Drake, the no-nonsense detective, is left to put the pieces together.

Barely ok
Revisado: 01-02-20
I made it through but it just wasn’t a great listen. Some of the characters were ok but it was slow and the ending was ok but not fantastic. I don’t understand the rave reviews.
