A Great Book
Revisado: 04-16-25
This one is such a memorable book adding new twists, turns and everything in between. Willie Jr. and his granddaughter's Lil Gert bond is strong as ever as they venture back across the pond to settle into Alabama at the Seller's Plantation that Willie Jr. mom Miss Gertie bought when it came up for sale. Lil Gert turns the old plantation into a bed and breakfast and also an sunflower farm. There is drama almost from the beginning. I'm so glad I decided to listen to this series and cannot wait to delve into the next book in this series. The virtual narration is decent.

A Great Book That Kept Me Wanting to Hear More
Revisado: 04-06-25
I started to forego this book because I'm not into psychological thrillers. I'm so glad I decided to take a chance and listen to it. It kept my interest and kept me wanting to know if my assumptions were correct. This also helped me to understand where Katherine had disappeared to and the reasoning behind it. The virtual voice was decent. Now onto the next book in this new series.

Highly Emotional Story of the Affects of Dementia
Revisado: 03-30-25
This storyline shows the affect of how dementia affects the whole family. Mary's battle with dementia was heartbreaking. It shows how the disease progress through the years. At times she didn't recognize her husband, her twin daughters, and even her grandchildren. Some days she thought Maureen was still alive and well when she had been gone for such a very long time. When she had good days it was wonderful When she had bad days she was very angry and actually mean to those close to her. Overall this book showed the toll dementia takes on the person and their love ones. I highly recommend this last book in the series. Now I will start the next generation series as I must know what has taken place with her children, grandchildren and the rest of her siblings. I highly recommend this series. The virtual voice narration was decent.

Revisado: 03-22-25
I laughed and cried in this heartwarming story of Ms. Gertie King. I have read all the previous books in this series and all I can say is I am so happy I stumble upon this series. Ms. Gertie was always one of my favorite characters in this series. A kind, loving and giving woman that is portrayed throughout each of the books in this series. Wonderful Continuation of the Series
Revisado: 03-17-25
First and foremost this storyline was great! Even though I have enjoyed all the books in this series thus far, this is one of my favorites behind the first two books of the series. This one shows Mary's dream come true in establishing of the The Yellow Feather Ranch and the growth of it over a 9 year period (through the 1970's). We see several new marriages, babies being born and a death. I am looking forward to the next book in this series. The virtual voice narration was decent.

Revisado: 03-06-25
This goes into the struggles that Sarah's husband Lorenzo encountered after he was injured during WWII, along with his mental health/PTSD. It takes you along as he eventually goes through therapy when Sarah goes back to England. This book also has us dealing with the deaths of some of the beloved characters. This book goes from the end of WWII to 1959. We see quite a few marriages, grandchildren and great grandchildren being born. I enjoyed this book tremendously. The virtual voice narration was decent.
