An outstanding novel in the Wheel of Time series!!

Satisfying story wrap up (more to come obviously)

The narration is wonderful! Michael Kramer is adept with changing his voice with each character and reads dramatically, with excitement and tension coming through. I plan to seek out all of his narrations. In Book 3, Mat has become my new favorite character with his story arc in this book. I enjoy "epic," long-read, fantasy books and because of the Amazon adaptation, chose this series. The female characters are gaining their supernatural powers, but their internal character development and personal growth never happens. I suppose, in the author's opinion, being bossy, refusing counsel and collaboration, and having an attitude of my-way-is-the-only-way immaturity is what makes a "strong woman." I'll continue on, in hopes of some depth for them. Don't get me wrong...the overall fantasy story is FUN and exciting, with adventure, suspense, terrifying monsters and brave, reluctant heroes who fight and prevail. I would recommend.
