Light predictable a fairy tale
Revisado: 03-14-25
It was light and helped me fall asleep. Very predictable but it was free. A pleasant fairytale.

Two rival artists. One thin wall between them. Zero chance of keeping their hands to themselves. Kell Eden is the best omega painter at the Art and Design Academy—just ask anyone except Parker Leipold. The arrogant alpha tears his work apart in front of everyone, leaving Kell fuming and oddly... aroused? Not that he'd ever admit it. Parker's obviously just another privileged alpha who's never worked for anything. Except Parker's perfect life is a carefully crafted lie. Cut off by his wealthy parents for taking in his omega brother and four-year-old nephew, he's barely keeping it together ...

Historia
Omega Alex Linx is hitchhiking on a dangerous desert highway, running from crappy ex-boyfriends, broken hearts, and a dead-end life. He’s a young wolf with plenty of spunk but not much experience, and when he crosses paths with a scary biker gang, it seems like his journey of self-discovery is going to be a short one. Until he shows up in his massive semi-truck. The hunky hero is Daniel Winterforth, a long-haul trucker and alpha wolf who normally would never stop his ride for anything, especially not to pick up a stray off the side of the road, but there’s just something about Alex that...

The writer was actually smart. The fiction is much like the reality happening now.
Revisado: 05-09-24
With another more intense revolution brewing against the conservative radical thought, it was actually a relief to read this book. It gave me a break.
Listening to Stormy Daniels trial with that aging obese man on trial. This book reminded me even powerful men die. That wisdom and knowledge will prevail.
There can be a happy ending even for gay men.

Historia
Nick Russo has worked his way from a rough Brooklyn neighborhood to a reporting job at one of the city’s biggest newspapers. But the late 1950s are a hostile time for gay men, and Nick knows that he can’t let anyone into his life. He just never counted on meeting someone as impossible to say no to as Andy. Andy Fleming’s newspaper-tycoon father wants him to take over the family business. Andy, though, has no intention of running the paper. He’s barely able to run his life.

Why not? Remember the past.
Revisado: 04-19-24
I just needed to be reminded. I had to reminded how being a victim of the police department in the 90s in New Orleans almost destroyed my life. I had the 50000 to get out of the charge. People need to remember. I liked the book. I fortunately was able to live the same fantasy. (The current Louisiana Republican platform sends us back to the 50s. Read that. )
The book is what it is. I needed it. Hopefully Netflix will pick it up.

My hands were shaking and I hit submi
Revisado: 12-11-23
Read the book. It is worth it. This was hard for me.
As I said there are many layers the author writes into these characters. Unfortunately I knew these people
Basically I loved someone and that someone felt he did not have a choice about his life. I knew I did. No communication ever. Nothing during the Boston scandals. AIDS. Homosexuality. I pray he wasn’t alone.
I accidentally downloaded this book. Every chapter was painful.
Read this and revisit the crossroads of your life. You will without a doubt question the loneliness of your own life
Actually the only chapter I needed was the last one.

Historia
Set in the 1950’s Paris of American expatriates, liaisons, and violence, a young man finds himself caught between desire and conventional morality. With a sharp, probing imagination, James Baldwin’s now-classic narrative delves into the mystery of loving and creates a moving, highly controversial story of death and passion that reveals the unspoken complexities of the human heart.

The introduction of his life was great. I can see why it was written the way it was. Many people are lost and struggling but I don’t see those people buying this book.
I don’t know what I was expecting. I didn’t realize this was a self help book. i don’t understand the audience for the book. There were many more topics to cover.
I wish he would have made it clear that this is a guide for the gay people of this country to define the clear value of who they are. I wish the last chapter would have been a continuation of the introduction. These are the steps that have given my life meaning. These are the battles I have fought.
The book needed more of his story.
