Wow, just wow...

Bleu had two beautiful twin daughters who had a father who was incarcerated. When Bleu met Oshea, she didn't realize he would become more than a client. When Oshea first laid eyes on Bleu, he knew she was the one. Now, giving a relationship and love a second chance, her ex is home and will stop at nothing to ruin her happiness. This book had me in a chokehold. Bleu was experiencing love the way she should have from the beginning, but her ex tried to stop that. Oshea was a great man, and I loved how he loved Bleu and her girls. Isiah was a terrible person, and karma showed up and showed out. This was a great read!!!

Now let's talk about these narrators, Morae and Leon delivered and I enjoyed them so much. This was my first time listening to Cary Hite, and all I can say is I will be listening to more of him!!!

I wasn't ready for this story...

The author, the Teacher, and the Construction Worker. Elliot (teacher) and Demi (Construction worker) are in an open relationship and Elliot is seeing Mona (author). When Mona comes to Atlanta to visit Elliot. Elliot wants Mona and Demi to meet, but they are not fans of each other. The more Demi and Mona spend time with each other the more they get to know each other, making Elliot wonder what is really going on with them. But when Elliot and Demi past show up, the secrets that were revealed had me grabbing my non existing pearls. Elliot was entitled and only thought of himself. Demi was a man who loved Elliot no matter what, but at times second guessed his decisions. Mona just wanted to be loved, but knew she wasn't in the right situation. This story had twists and turns I wasn't expecting and I didn't want it to end. The author wrote a story that happens in real life that needed to be told.
This was a new to me narrator. She did a great job, but I wasn't a fan of her voice for Elliot. Granted Demi was a man, the accent she had for him worked perfect. All in all, I enjoyed the narrator and loved the story.

Right Person, wrong time...

Nissi is a dentist that was stuck in an elevator on her way to work. Calling the fire department to get her out, Nissi see fine fireman Kannon. Wanting to thank him for his rescue, she ask tiktok for help. Five hours and the best date of her life, she finds out a secret that ends, the date and any chance of them moving forward. This was a great story and I loved how the author showed the main female character refused to settle for anything to be with a man she wants. She also showed the main male character growth in what he wanted in a relationship and the steps to receive what he wanted.
Now the narrators were perfect for this story. This was my first time listening to Tony Isbella and Ebony Mendez. Ebony had the Nissi down packed, she was flirty, smart, but also embodied Nissiwith the sass. Tony Isbella was the perfect Kannon, he delivered the voice of a man that was deep, and gave you all the feels all over. I really enjoyed this audible, check it out and I hope you do as well.

The one that got away...

Toure and Niomi always had feelings for each other, so when the Bicentennial Homecoming approached, they both came home. Toure knew he had two things to do, fix his relationship with his daughter and finally get his girl. Niomi has always wanted Toure, and now she has her chance. Seeing Toure and Niomi reconnecting and spending time to get to know each other was nice and I loved his time with his daughter.
The storyline was perfect.and as always Jakobi and Wesleigh delivered.
Another hit for me from Kennedy Ryan!!!

Imagine your sneaky link is much younger than you and is close to. Farrah has been married for five years and she loved him, but something was missing. Looking for what was missing, Farrah finds what she is missing in a young man who becomes her sneaky link. This book was short but mighty. Farrah went for what she wanted, but at the end, it looks like it was about to be found out. This was a great read and I hope it will be a part two!
This was my first time hearing this narrator and I enjoyed her performance. There where a little changes in the narration, but not enough to make me stop listening. I enjoyed it!!!

Friends to Forever Lovers...

Sesali and her friends went to see mega superstar Dash Dean, when Sesali is noticed by Dash, she is invited backstage by him. When Dash makes a move, Sesali turns him down because one of her best friend's feelings for him. Not wanting Sesali to get away, Dash asked if they could be friends, which eventually turned into more. The more time they spent together as friends, the stronger their feelings grew for each other. Dash and Sesali had a great friendship, they spent time talking and getting to know each other. They bought out the best in each other and I enjoyed reading their story. There was some underhanded things that was going on behind Dash and Sesali back to hurt them, but the way they rode for each other showed that they were it for each other. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes, I always say friends make better lovers and this story showed it.
Let's talk about the narrators for this book. Myles Washington voice was perfect for Dash Dean, he emanated charisma, sexiness and smarts and bought Dean alive. Zakiya was Sesali to me. Her voice was perfect for Sesali. She was sassy, loving and funny. Can I just say this is my second audio with Myles and Zakiya and I'm loving them together.

A great story if college friends coming together for homecoming. I loved everything about this book. Now Wesleigh and Winston did their thing narrating this story. I loved together and also how they narrated every voice!!!

Tempest and Theo are goals...

This was a great story of two people falling in love. Tempest was a dancer and when she danced to a sing by Theo that went viral, he had to meet her. what they did expect was to have a string connection.

Dionne Richard narrated this story and did an excellent job with all the voices in this story. This was my first audio by Dionne and it won't be my last.

Well deserved HEA

This was a story I was not ready for. Samara and Zavion both had traumatic childhoods, but after meeting and getting to know each other, things changed that made them both fight to heal. I loved this entire story. of course Jakobi did his thing as usual, but Trei Taylor delivered. this was my first listen with her and I was in love with her performance!!!
