Enjoyed most of it

The boys? loved them. the character development? slow but a believable pace. the FMC? Couldn't stand her. tantrums, lots of stomping and door slamming, ect. however, the guys are all late 20s and she's only 22, so that makes sense. the beginning seemed rushed, like author wanted to get to the good stuff, but it got better as the story went on. Spice was a 3/5 as well. Twist was mildly predictable, but there were pleanty of gasp worthy shocks. overall I am not mad I took the time to read this.

Repetitive

I've read these books my entire life. I love them and return to Stephanie often. The only problem is, if you binge read them you start to notice there's lots of repeat stories. There's almost always some weird dude bothering Stephanie who is weird but harmless, old guys being overly sexual and really into food, and names that repeat themselves. Lula also acts like they never had a Vampire storyline before, even though they did. It's a cute addition to the series, and the ending (no spoilers) sets up for all sorts of messes in the future, but im not thrilled by the series lately. Janet needs to start keeping notes of names and storylines already used so we can get some fresh chaos

As per usual, there are some easy guesses, and major twists in this book! MFC drove me nuts with how obsessed she was with finding a man, but other than that I enjoyed it. I listened from start to finish in just over one day! This book wasn't super action packed, but it was a comfortable read. I could see myself reading this again on a chilly, rainy day

I love this author, and I love her Hockey Gods series. but this was not a bully romance. This was just abuse from start to finish. it also ended on a cliff hanger. I'll be googling what happens in the rest of the series because I can't deal with more of this.

Everyone gets a turn

I love that this series gives the men pleanty of chapters. some RH books I've read hardly have any male POV chapters. I loved that, and rhe male narrator. The female was good, but I really couldn't stand her enunciation. once I got into the book, it was easier to ignore.

Amazing

I listened to this entire book in one day. I couldn't stop. I went in absolutely blind, without even reading the summary. I've seen the title all over the place and after a mild book slump I decided to jump right in. I was floored. Twists I thought I worked out were wrong, and I gasped a few good times reading this. I have already recommended this to two friends and my book group! Read. this. book!

Loved everything but the female narrator

Yet another fantastic book by one of my favorite authors! I adored the entire cast, except the female narrator. It sounds like she's speaking with a retainer in or something. Or like when people in TV shows and cartoons get dental work done. Like talking around a marshmallow or something. I like her a lot but the random times it sounds like her mouth is full kind of urks me.

Emotional Whiplash in the best way

Wow. I'm not sure what else to say. Beautifully written, tortuous, and the narrators were PHENOMENAL. Joe Arden is a GOD. I'm blanking on the females name (so sorry) but she's now one of my favorites. The emotions this stunning novel and their performances brought up over my time reading this were absolutely insane. this books is going to stay with me for a while. Read it.

I hadn't heard of this series before and didn't see many reviews but decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did! I enjoyed the story and all its characters. I will be reading the other two! this is a series but the website says it can be read as a standalone. The plot is easy to follow without book one but I do wish I'd found book 1 first!
