good narrator, great story

I've been waitfor the audible version of this book for a long time and it was worth the wait. good story good pace memorable characters. Bad Ass finish. can't wait for the next one.

too chaotic at times and confusing transitions into visions/dreams at times but still a very good story. ill definitely have to do a relisten soon. I'm a big fan of this series.

should've listened to Elisabeth Evans' performance

did any actor listen to the original narrator's version? all the male characters sound the same and there aren't any accents. Cormac should sound Scottish or Irish. the Viper Queen? what a waste of money, the regular version is better. also, the constant background noise/elevator music is ridiculous. Elizabeth Evans outperformed the entire cast in her version. so far this entire series has been butchered in the full cast versions.

Great story, Actors????

this story is one of my all time favorites. which is why I went in for this version for a change up. feels like random people just reading off lines with generic background noise and music running. complete miss on the portrayals of every character. the group of actors in this version don't even come close to the original narrator's performance. every male character sounds like a generic Caucasian computer nerd and the female characters completely miss on the tone of each situation. can't believe this ever made it pass the editing phase. did the actors even read the book?

aspects of the FMC are very similar to Aelin from TOG, and she seems somewhat helpless which is also similar to TOG. entertaining story so far and performed very well. interested to see where it goes in book 2.

good story drawn out way too long

the story is good, but it's dragged down with emotional baggage and filler. the story should've been half as long. the narrator needs to work on the sex scenes, the dialog during them was corny and the male parts were a little creepy sounding. almost DNFd this one and I don't know if I'll go onto the next.

stoey keeps getting better but narration needs some tweaks

the story keeps getting better but the narrator got worse. Elizabeth Evans did book one and did an amazing job, in book two the narrator changes and not for the better. she talks to slow and doesn't do a good job of projecting strength in the characters voices. every character comes off as timid. it took me half the book to get use to her style. the story is great though and after speeding up the narrator to 1.75 I was able to fully emerse in the story again.
