Here's Book 6 in the Catherine Tregowyn Mysteries series - Murder in the Family! "...readers will fall in love with the charming cast of characters, each of whom seems above suspicion. By blending romance and thrills with a spunky, brilliant protagonist, the author serves up a golden age-style treat for any book-loving armchair sleuth".--Publisher's Weekly (Booklife) for Murder at Tregowyn Manor (Book 3 in the series) “. . . the well-educated, literary characters . . . are enjoyable, and the plot is nicely balanced between tense action and the love triangle. . . an entertaining historical...

I dislike virtual voice

I'm not a fan of virtual voice. it misses any inflection. whenever possible I prefer an actual voice. the difference in each character voice is harder to distinguish as well.

Oh just shoot me now
Revisado: 11-25-20
I have this entire series and have noticed a very depressing trend. Tricia's character has become depressing. So much so that I felt like I needed anti depression medication just listening to this book. Sorry, but I can watch the news and get depressed for free. It's really too bad you can't let this poor woman have a little happiness. Sorry but this is the last one for me.

I love all the characters in this series. I’ve listened to the entire series 3 times and some of the books more than that. I hope it will continue and Meg will continue to be her same snarky self!

Her supernatural task? To unearth four artifacts hidden by her grandfather before a rival magical family beats her to it. Complication One: The artifacts are lost somewhere in vampire Jane Jameson’s occult bookshop. Complication Two: Her new neighbor, Jed Trudeau, keeps turning up half-naked at the strangest times....

Molly does it again
Revisado: 06-20-13
Where does A Witch's Handbook of Kisses and Curses rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Molly Harper is without a doubt one of my favorite authors. Her characters have personalities that love. A little snarky, funny and bright. The narrator, Amanda Ronconi is PERFECT for her books and this one is no exception. Amanda does a beliveable Irish/Boston accent. I own all of Molly Harper's books and will continue to buy them as fast as she can write them. I love the Half Moon Hollow series.

SLOW DOWN Eric!
Revisado: 10-10-12
What does Eric Dove bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
One of the reasons I buy these on Audible is because I love Eric Doves' voice. He's perfect for the part. I can't understand why in this book, he feels such a need to rush the reading. Before reading the next in the series, please listen to the cadence of the first 2 books and return to that speed. It actually takes away from the story and makes the story not as enjoyable.

What does Paula Christensen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Paula does a fantastic job of reading the book. I enjoy listening her. I usually do not care for female readers but she is great.
Any additional comments?
I have all of the Argeneau novels on tape and have enjoyed all of them. Lynsey is able to keep the stories fresh, creative and still moving forward. Keep up the great work.
