I wake up feeling refreshed.
Reluctantly, I turn off the sounds and look forward to a different verse and falling asleep the next night.

Somewhere I read that the sounds of the ocean waves are like the water is breathing in and out on the shore. That is a good description. And the water sounds seem to melt my stress away.
I like the fact hat I can choose between two voices. They are both good.
And then the comforting thoughts turn into sleep.

I put it on and fell asleep

I often watch TV in bed which is apparently the wrong way to try to sleep. (Bright screen, blue light, etc.)
So last night I put on this audiobook instead and fell asleep pretty fast. I would guess within five minutes or less.
I know there are other ways to get similar sound programs but this one is convenient and worked for me.

You really get 20 hours.
Actually you get ten chapters that are each 2 hours long.
I tried the first ten hours of the thunderstorm with the music therapy tones. (I guess they are themes from classical symphonies) Then I did the next ten hours without the music therapy.
They sound great with no problems or distractions.

My New Bedtime Routine

This works for me, even on nights when I don't think I'm going to be able to fall asleep.
1. Set up my phone and my bluetooth speaker
2. Set the audiobook on pause
3. Say a prayer
4. Get comfortable in bed
5. Push play
6. Listen and relax
I don't know exactly when it happens of course, but I fall asleep. Last night I don't think it took more than 5 minutes.
I honestly hate to turn the sounds off in the morning.
