Historia
Feyre has undergone more trials than one human woman can carry in her heart. Though she’s now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people. As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre’s hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin.

I didn’t see any of that coming at all. I loved the first book. Now I really love the second book. What a great story! Give it a listen if you thought the first was great. You won’t be disappointed.

I don't want to give anything away. This was a fun ride with several movie scene worthy moments.
If you enjoy investigative mysteries, jungle expeditions, and a few sciences mixed in, you should give this book a listen.

The members of the Polaris Project knew what they were giving up when they volunteered to fly to the star named Angel-21, but the allure of being the first explorers to leave the Solar System far outweighed the risks. As it turned out, the most dangerous thing they faced wasn't the mission, it was the homecoming. Eight hundred years have passed, and Earth is nothing like they thought it would be.

Hard choices all around. Assumptions were made, and people are who they are.

Historia
From executive producers of The Walking Dead and Travis Beacham, the writer of Pacific Rim, comes a heart-stopping Audible Original featuring a brilliant British cast. It’s the near future and seven years since a comet hit the earth and blotted out the sun. The world is a dark, frozen landscape. And then, beastly creatures emerge and take over. A story of apocalypse, horror, and adventure, Impact Winter is a wholly original new saga created just for Audible with immersive 3D audio that dares you to pop in your earbuds and listen in the dark.

Better than I expected.
Revisado: 06-12-22
I thought this would be bleak, full of boring exposition, and that the characters would be only as interesting as required to tell the story given the title and the cover art.
The cover art and title give no indication that this story is relationship driven and full of warmth and love between the characters.
They live in a harsh, impossible world, but the listener isn't subject to hopelessness.
The ride is bumpy, but exhilarating at times, and the lows are punctuated with the expectation of things turning out better than they could have.
I was pleasantly surprised and glad I gave it a chance.

Ok, but where's the rest of it?
Revisado: 03-27-22
The editing is terrible!
The person hired to edit this book shouldn't have been hired during finals week; the ending of each Encyclopedia entry was cut short!
And they didn't even bother to try to pretend to add all the encyclopedia entries. Just a few were slapped together and called good. Unbelievable!
I have no idea how this made it to publishing. Everyone should be fired. I'm so mad that I give this book 5 stars. Do better!

A complete crime fiction box set! Homicide detective Thomas Prescott may be retired—but a serial killer, a high-profile murder, an ill-fated cruise, and a chilling small-town crime add more than enough excitement to his hard-earned rest. This collection includes the first four books: Unforeseen, Gray Matter, The Afrikaans, and Show Me.

Evan Michaels struggles with being different, with having the complete memories of two other people who lived sequentially before him. He fights loneliness and believes he is unique until he meets Poppy. She recognizes his struggle because she is like him, except that she is much older, remembering seven consecutive lives. But there is something else she must share with Evan - she is a member of the secretive Cognomina. In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

I watched an interview on the NSLS website and immediately bought this book before the interview was over. So glad I did.
School didn't teach much about other countries so this was pretty informative about life in South Africa from a unique perspective.
Grateful for the stories.
