Great story and can't wait for book 2

This is a fun, long, and complex story that grows and grows chapter by chapter. pacing is normal to fast, and the characters feel real and immersive. slavery is dark part of the story but the mc is calculating how to change it... he takes a reasonable approach not starting some crazy war that would kill more of the slaves than is would help.
there is a few dialogue missing parts, but the error is being corrected and it's only a small part.

If you like the other books you’ll like this. Is it the same yes, but that’s good, as I got the same adventure as from the other books. Nothing beats when we first met skippy but heck he is still funny at least I think so. I hope this story arch doesn’t take 15 books, maybe six more or something

This was an excellent story.
Great character development.
Cool and cold world building.
Interesting application of tech and magic.
Leaves me wanting the next book as soon as posable.
This was like an excellent primer for a far more Indepth look and adventure in to the subterrain worlds 12 miles below, worth every second of the credit.
