Beautiful Narration

I went on a 1400 mile road trip and pulled out this audiobook to keep me company on the journey and it did not disappoint. The perspective of Hecate and how to use that energy in your life, as well as how to connect with some inner parts of yourself were quite intriguing.

What really sold me was the narration. Leslie Howard has the perfect soothing voice to deliver messages like the ones in this book. I look forward to future listens as I dive into some of the specific practices the book brought up.

Wonderful exploration of becoming your true self

I always have high hopes for books that explore gender, self identity, and self acceptance, and this did not disappoint. Trepp's journey to become Tepp, and to understand more of what the world holds and how to exist in it was beautifully written and engaging. The gentle fantasy trappings were so cozy, and Mina's own journey to accept help and love just had me squealing. As a lover of bees, the bee lore had my mind buzzing happily, and the goose and her little purrs and her inherent sense of knowing were so endearing.

I related so much to the journey both main characters went through. Something about Trepp's experience growing up resonated with me, growing up in an extremely religious family. The themes of being insular and separate from the rest of the world stood out and I have felt the same sense of missing out on information that everyone else seems to already know as I have untangled myself from that lifestyle and learned what the rest of the the people around me have known for a long time.

The narration was wonderful. I've listened to Aven Shore's work before, but this one was so fully embodied. Probably because she wrote the book, but it was a beautiful journey from start to finish and I didn't want to turn it off once I'd started.

This one is worth a re-listen

For whatever reason, I love this book. I love the characters, regardless of how some infuriate me. I love the journey to knowing herself that Jordan goes on, despite the fact that she could go a lot deeper. The seeds of that journey are there, and they tug at my heartstrings. I like both narrators, both do a great job conveying characters and the underlying emotions that are rampant in the book. I'm sure in a year or two I will probably listen again.

Sweet Story

The story was good, and I liked that each sister had a distinctive personality. I'd like to see the rest of the books in the series. The narrator kind of swept me up into the story with the way she spoke and got into character.

Narrator mispronounced SO many words

I couldn't get through this entire story due to the narrator mispronouncing words left and right. I was enjoying the premise, but consistently hearing random words said completely wrong just ruined it for me. A lot of them weren't even "tricky" words or those ones you've only read but never heard aloud. She would benefit from a picky proofer.

Great storyline and narration

This story was great. I really enjoyed it! The characters were well written and believable and the narration really brought them to life. And Craig really committed to the sexy bits and dialed the heat up to 11.

Sexy quick listen

I was in the mood for something hot that also wouldn't take me all day to listen to and this fit the bill perfectly.
The story was scintillating, and the narration was top notch. My face is still hot just thinking about what Primcock and Audra got up to. Amazing.

So many awesome elements!

I really enjoyed this story. Stephanie had such a nice, soothing voice, I could listen to her talk for hours... and obviously I did. Her narration brought the characters to life in my ears and was so engaging!

As far as the story goes, I really enjoyed it as well. Every time Kyle came into the story I just got this stupid grin on my face because he was such a loveable goof ball. I adore a quirky well done side character. I really loved Kate and Paxton as well. The push and pull between them was believably written because of their past. Kate is the kind of kickass woman I adore. I hope there will be more in the Kate Howard series, especially narrated by this narrator.

Oh, my heart

I heard about this book from a podcast and decided to give it a listen. I'm not normally a m/m listener, but I'm glad I gave this a chance. It was such a good story. Both narrators were good and gave such life to the whole thing. I'm glad I listened. It was precious.

This book was ridiculously good. I enjoyed every single thing about it. It was so funny, I was giggling smiling through the whole thing, There were so many adorable awkward moments between Cam and Cadence. I loved them as a couple and I loved their whole journey to becoming a couple. I'll be listening to this again.

The narration was phenomenal. Monica King knocked this out of the part. She captured all the voices so well, and gave each character such a distinct sound and personality. I never wondered who was talking. Her ability to capture emotions in her voice is so spot on. I highly recommend this one, so definitely take a listen if you're on the fence. It's magical.
