Do not waste your time on this angsty, hurt-filled book. I estimate 7 hours of heart ache plus 45 minutes of flashbacks to happier times plus 15 minutes of ending. Yuck.

Perfection

A strong heroine, a handsome man, and a happy ending. Great book set in England, so the characters have delightful accents. Definitely recommend.

Trigger Warnings, Great Balance

Trigger warnings: discussions of suicide and rape.

I like how the characters resolve their differences with communication and their issues with therapy. These are positive role models (for the most part).

I feel like some good parts were skimmed over. I would have liked to have heard about the great weekend when they met and what was gping through Autumn's brain. Later text revealed some not all.

Great series, Okay book

I really love this series. This book, however, can be summed up in few words: Jason has PTSD, Farrah is back, Jason shows his family magic. No gods or exceptional monsters. (Well, a god's avatar showed up, but she was unimpressive.) The whole book was repetitious, reminding the reader about what had happened previously and setting up the action to come. Overall, this book was disappointing. The whole could have taken half or a quarter of the pages.

Here is hoping the next book lives up to the standard of the rest of the series.

Divorce, bickering, baggage

Main character is going through a vicious divorce. She lashes at the nice guy helping her and leads on the nice guy pursuing her. I could notlistem to whole book.

Whiny

I usually like this author's work. This one, however, just felt like a bunch of angst that could have been avoided with an honest conversation. I had to stop because I found myself saying over and over, "Just tell him!"

These are two great voice actors. Love their work.

Child Abuse, Prequel, NOT a romance novel

I expected the story of Billy going to Italy and wooing Claire (aka Scarlett). Instead, I heard a horror story. Trigger warning: cutting, child abuse, brutality, trauma, bike gang, cruelty to animals.

I am disappointed in this book. I enjoyed most of the rest of this series and had looked forward to Billy's happily ever after. I did not want nightmares, but that is what I have now. Do not recommend.

Disturbing but entertaining

He admits that he has stalked her for two years. He wants her to commit to him on their 1st date. then he wants her to promise to date him for at least 6 months. Oh and he is on parole with the feds watching him.

With all these red flags, she stayed with him. okkkkk then.

Backdrop: sex club.. Man: heartless killer. Woman: badly in need of therapy.

Woman actor reads. Man actor inserts pausea like Shatner.

Short sex scenes are hot. That is the nicesr thing that I can say about this waste of time.
