It was a struggle to get them rough this book. The on line chats were hard to follow when listening due to all the hash tag references. The book could have been significantly shorter and while continuing to be an interesting story.

You can easily skip all of part 2

To me, this was a very disappointing book. I have read or listened to most of John Grisham's books and this one falls very short of my expectations. First of all I think you can just eliminate part 2. It adds nothing of real value to the story, And then you can condense part 1 and 3 and make it into a wonderful short story. The performance by Michael Beck was excellent. If I say any more it will spoil what value there is to the book. I would not recommend this one. Just not for me but others may enjoy the book.

Would you listen to Double Whammy again? Why?

No. I could not stand to listen to George Wilson swallow and breath in my ear. Very distracting and took away from the listening pleasure

What was one of the most memorable moments of Double Whammy?

Skink and all his antics.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

His voice was very good but the production was terrible. Could hear him swallow and breath with every couple of sentences. But if it wasn't for that, I would have given him 5 stars.

If you could take any character from Double Whammy out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Either of the ladies from the book, They sound interesting.

Interesting spy novel with a few twists

Good new Cold War novel. Recipes at the end of the chapters was interesting at first and then got old. Narrator did a very good job setting the tone for each character. Diva's ability to know the character of another person through color auroras was a stretch. Otherwise it was a good listen.

Early Moore

Always too short

Loved this third book and the performance was really excellent. I hope he writes another in the series and makes it longer. If you like C. Moore then you will enjoy this book.

Excellent sequel and performance

The only problem with this book was that it is too short. I wasn't ready for it to end. The performance was excellent. Also enjoyed the interview with the author at the end.

Where does The Heist rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The Heist ranks fairly high among the audiobooks I have listened to so far. Good plot and interesting characters

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Heist?

I don't want to provide any spoilers but the negotiations was very brief but surprising

What about George Guidall’s performance did you like?

I would listen to George read the tax code or phone book and still enjoy him

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was very surprised at the negotiations. I thought the book would take a much different twist

Interesting Sequel

This book was an interesting sequel.

I would try another book because I would like to see the characters continue to develop

What does Robert Glenister bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He did a very good job of changing character voices. You can recognize each character by the voice he spoke

Enjoyed the book but George makes it better

What did you love best about American Assassin?

I have to agree with the other reviewers. George Guidall could read the phone book or tax codes and he would make it interesting. The story was interesting since it was about Mitch Raps beginning. It had some humorous parts as well as some excellent trills.
