I dont ever remember being any less invested in the characters of a book. I couldn't make it through the second book. It is hard to listen to. Save your time and Skip. I have read other books by this author and they were not this slow.

Mike Talbot is probably the best character I have ever come across in any book. Funny when it calls for it. Very serious at the right time.
This is my third series narrated by Sean Runnette. I happened on him but he is going in my Mt. Rushmore of narrators.

Much like the other books in this series, this one is great. I love that the chapters are in bite size chunks. The only drawback is the narrator. Not that he is bad, just that he is foreign. He makes Terrell sound like he is Eastern European. But minus that small take away, the series is great.l

Like Derek's other books in this series, these are just as good. The only problem I had was with the narration. The narrator is good, but it is hard to listen to someone from somewhere else trying to pull off a southern accent. Not that his narration was bad, bu it was hard to listen to the accents being " marred." Overall, great books. Will be listening to the rest of his books in time.

This is my second Ryan Schow series. It is just as good as the first one. Great characters. All of them had great depth to them. I hope to see more of the Demis brothers in the future. I would listen to Kevin Pierce narrate a dictionary.
