Historia
Dr. Jamison is one of the foremost authorities on manic-depressive (bipolar) illness; she has also experienced it firsthand. For even while she was pursuing her career in academic medicine, Jamison found herself succumbing to the same exhilarating highs and catastrophic depressions that afflicted many of her patients, as her disorder launched her into ruinous spending sprees, episodes of violence, and an attempted suicide.

great insight

I can relate a lot to what the author went through. Her perspective of what bipolar does to you showed me a new light with which to look at myself, and the world. I feel like I'll 'read' it again to capture everything once more. Thank you

Superb as always
Revisado: 12-08-20
I have to say- finding out that the mighty Jack Reacher actually has fears (being in cramped small spaces and somewhat of a fear of dogs) really took me by surprise. I wasn't used to this younger version of him. I was not disappointed however. Oh yeah- the reader had me laughing when all of a sudden he was busting out perfect French! Never knew that either.

Historia
Everything starts somewhere. For elite military cop Jack Reacher, that somewhere was Carter Crossing, Mississippi, way back in 1997. A young woman is dead, and solid evidence points to a soldier at a nearby military base. But that soldier has powerful friends in Washington. Reacher is ordered undercover - to find out everything he can, to control the local police, and then to vanish. Reacher is a good soldier. But when he gets to Carter Crossing, he finds layers no one saw coming, and the investigation spins out of control.

I would recommend
Revisado: 08-24-20
Surprisingly darker side to Reacher in this one, had me a bit on edge. Something I'm not used to. I know he was younger in this novel, so I guess he was a bit more scarey in his younger days, and more dangerous. As always, the story was a bit unbelievable- but that's Reacher all the time. Nothing new. Other than that I would 100% recommend this book. Like all the others by Child, it did not disappoint. Dick Hill is the star here once again.

The primary goal of Med Free Bipolar is to show that treating bipolar effectively through natural means is not only possible, but highly likely. The Med Free Method is designed as a fourth treatment option over being medicated, unmedicated, or self-medicated, written by a peer who has been through it and backed by scientifically-proven, field-tested methods.

Thank you for sharing

Thank you for being able to find your courage to write all of this. I'm amazed this is even possible. I started listening to your book looking for more info on lithium orotate and I found so much more. It's scary to know what I've been missing, but some day I'll find the courage to try and finally take the steps to overcome Bipolar for good. For now I'm gonna keep doing as you say- take one step at a time or one change at a time. I've got to order your hard copy of this book. Thanks again.

Historia
Reacher is on a Greyhound bus, minding his own business, with no particular place to go and all the time in the world to get there. Then, he steps off the bus to help an old man who is obviously just a victim waiting to happen. But you know what they say about good deeds. Now, Reacher wants to make it right. An elderly couple have made a few well-meaning mistakes, and now they owe big money to some very bad people. One brazen move leads to another, and suddenly Reacher finds himself a wanted man in the middle of a brutal turf war between rival Ukrainian and Albanian gangs.
