Historia
Ever since the System brought magic and monstrous mayhem to Earth, long-haul trucker Jill "Junkmouth" MacLeod has had a need for speed. The highway snaking through the Midwestern plains is the battleground, and the stakes are the lives of not only Jill but thousands of survivors along for the ride. Together with Bertha, her mega-upgraded, fully-turreted, heavily-armored Soulbound big rig, Jill has the edge—so far.

Historia
All that stands between rowdy long-haul trucker Jill MacLeod (aka Junkmouth) and her family back in Boston is two thousand miles of asphalt. Well, that and the monstrous game the System has had her playing ever since it descended on Earth. The reward: mana. Jill's goal: kill, score, drive—and stay alive. Behind the wheel of a turreted forty-ton semi named Bertha, Jill hammers east from Montana through a gauntlet of every kind of chomping, hissing, rabid creature imaginable. Barreling forward in her magical soulbound big rig and chalking up a bumper crop of roadkill, Jill isn't alone for long.

Historia
It seems like a lifetime ago that Thedeim was a mortal man. After a fatal accident, he was transported to a strange realm to begin again as a living low-level dungeon. But he didn't stay small for long. With a powerful will, he built his dungeon self into a force to be reckoned with, full of minions, creepy crawlies, and a hedge maze to die for. Except Thedeim isn't a place where delvers die. He's a different, friendlier kind of dungeon, which suits both him and his many allies just fine. But being a nice dungeon means taking on some not-so-nice entities.

Huge Letdown
Revisado: 12-12-24
I can summarize the book easily, the MC becomes WAY TOO OP, and he becomes was dumber. Warning: minor spoilers.
Why too OP? Well Zane honestly didn’t have to try AT ALL. He just breezes through every single challenge. In previous books his savage body is such a huge part of the story, but in this one he only goes under 75% health a few times, and critical once. That is after fighting like 10 monsters where "oh no, there is no way he can stand up to this". Then in less than 2 chapters he is beating the same type of monster, at a higher level, and is not even trying. He doesn’t struggle and honestly he barely fights. He almost doubles his levels in one book and barely struggles. All he has to do to gain levels and insane bloodline power ups is have sex and eat treasures. Also his soul is way too OP. He literally does nothing with his soul and is the most powerful soul user like ever. He also has the strongest body, a cheat bloodline, and more essence than the rest of the world combined. The first few books were amazing as there was so much struggle, now….. he didn’t truly struggle the whole book. Also Reina is WAY OP as well. She never fights or does anything besides cast the same healing spell on Zane, the spell is broken by the way, and she is one of the most powerful people. She is also never in danger because every single monster just goes for Zane. This is the same case with the rest of his team, they grow way too fast, and when the fighting happens, they do nothing, and still gain insane levels. Look I get it, the MC should be the strongest, in my favorites stories the MC rises from obscurity to rise to the top. But this rise is too fast, too complete, and too easy. He is the best at everything all the time always. The book should be titled Zane Leisurely Walks Through the Toughest Challenges the System can Throw at Him and He Doesn’t Have to Try At All. Now while that is a terrible title, it is far more accurate. Other MCs in other good books are OP. But the good ones have a reason, adversity, unique opportunities, unique circumstances, there is a reason. Zane hasn’t struggled more than anyone else, and he is more powerful because…… he just is. Sure his soul is powerful but why?!?!?! He just better because he just is. That is why people can’t relate to him. Oh and the worst part? all these upgrades happen in like THREE WEEKS!!!!!!! Two weeks outside of the dungeon and one week within. If it has been three years, it would have felt way too fast, but man, it was just too much.
Also, why is he so dumb now? Every time there is a challenge it is just “let me smash it”. He is so much dumber than he was in the first two books. In those books he at least had an original thought. His title is the Savage Sage. Not the Savage Idiot Who Can Still Do Anything Without Trying. He doesn’t have to be a genius, but in this book he couldn’t wipe his butt if Reina didn’t tell him too, which was not the first case in the first two books. I don’t mind a dumb MC, some people are dumb, but it is the regression of Zane in this book that feels so disingenuous.
Book 1 was amazing, book 2 was good with Zane getting a bit too OP, but book 3 is a huge let down.
Also, the book eliminates almost all of Zane dialogue for some reason.
Narration was good though. I would be happy to listen to this narrator again.

Revisado: 12-04-24
I didn’t know anything about this topic when I grabbed this book but I learned a ton and it was a great book for beginners or someone wanting to move beyond beginner.
The virtual voice narrator was fine. Nothing wrong with it, but lacks the charisma of better narrators.
