Not my cup of tea

Great deal for 8 books, but I couldn't finish. The main character, Zara, was obnoxious. I'm not sure how she made it to adulthood and raised a daughter! Zara is immature, impulsive, selfish and has no common sense. The other characters were mostly background fluff. The narrator was ok. I just couldn't suspend my beliefs enough to enjoy.

A fun adaptation of the DDVN series. Love the series and performance. The background music and sound effects got loud and overpowering at times, which was annoying. Great story, nonetheless!

Light and fun new series. Loved the different characters and Ms. Hewitt's narration was amazing! The mystery being solved did seem to get lost a bit with all the magic and introduction to characters and back stories, but overall an enjoyable listen.

What made the experience of listening to Overtaken the most enjoyable?
Packed with adventure, suspense, mystery and a bit of romance, the series keep me engaged right to the end! Ms. Davies really made the characters come to life! I loved how everything was addressed in Overtaken and I felt very satisfied with how everything felt complete.
