Gah! It’s always sad when a series you love ends. At least we got to see their happily ever afters.
As per usual a book written by Alice Winters and read by Greg Boudreaux was perfection to listen to. The characters and their voices were unique and easy to differentiate.
I highly recommend the series, you won’t be disappointed!

Masters is right!

Joel Leslie brings these characters to life. His voices are distinct enough that I can always tell who is speaking, I love that! Even better are the words he is reading. Louisa Masters really is a master of writing an excellent story. Each story is a complete adventure and romance while still adding to the overall storyline. Each couple becomes my new favorite during each book.
I also loved having these five books playing in a row, there’s no need to figure out which is next or a book ending at the wrong time. It just keeps going on! I fully recommend purchasing this version of the series, it’s a total money saver.
My only issue is regarding the cover art. The last two men should be switched. It’s currently showing David then Alistair when the books are the other way around. But that doesn’t detract from my enjoyment, just more of a nit picky thing.

He does the voices

Greg has a way of making the voices easily distinguishable from each other. I can tell who's talking by the way he changes his tone and inflection. He’s my favorite reader. And when he pairs up with my favorite author I know I’m in for an enjoyable time. This book didn’t disappoint. Bastion and Andras were a totally believable couple, one I was definitely rooting for. I can’t wait to listen to the next book!

Just as good as the first two

Greg just brings these characters to life with every word spoken. He nails the tone and emotion. And the book itself is great. It doesn’t feel stale, the new plot just as intriguing as the prior books. I’m only sad because there isn’t a book four to read and listen to!

Great Book Made Even Better

Alice and Greg are an unbeatable duo of writer and narrator. Seriously I love this book (and series), I’ve read it several times and didn’t think it could get better. Then I listened to it! Greg makes the characters come to life, the voices for each character are distinct and apt. It felt like I was living the book instead of reading it. I highly recommend giving the book a read or at least a listen, or be like me and do both!
