A bit preachy
Revisado: 02-07-25
I like the overall topic of the story but the underlying climate change rants and semi Christianity bashing was a little much.

Historia
It was a hard-learned lesson but Jim Powell finally understood that isolating his group of friends and family was no longer the best idea. It was a strategy that had once kept them safe, but lately seemed to be doing exactly the opposite. Staying out of town and away from people had led to them missing critical intelligence—that there were people in their community actively plotting against Jim.

Historia
This is the book that dares to show us the military hardware, global upheavals, and raw combat a second Korean War would unleash. How F-16s would blast across the 38th Parallel. How ultra-modern submarines would vie for the seas. And how two armies would turn the snowfields of Asia red with blood. A thundering geopolitical thriller of vast scope, this is Red Phoenix - and a new standard for military/political suspense fiction.

Historia
Lyudmila Mikhailovna Pavlichenko, also known as "Lady Death", is the most deadly female sniper in history with 309 confirmed kills. She saw terror and destruction from the Nazis and became a full bore Nazi killing machine. Using her Mosin Nagant M91/30 she struck fear in the invading Nazi army who at first tried to recruit her. Over a megaphone they would project that they would give her an Officer rank and, get this, lots of chocolates. Lydmila opted for killing Nazis over their chocolates to the Nazis then started projecting over the megaphone that they would "tear her into 309 pieces" when ...

Man, what a bunch of rocket scientists
Revisado: 03-21-22
I don't expect every podcaster to be a genius but good grief.. it's like a random collection of guys who are just rambling about whatever the topic is. I listen to you four or five hoping that maybe it was just me but unfortunately not. I'd say at least 75% of the time I knew more about the topic than they did and I'm just some random regular guy.

Historia
Massive fleets of unknown origin had simultaneously appeared across the globe, attacking major cities and small towns. It was a violent display of full-spectrum global dominance - swift and clinical, rendering much of the world's military forces into smoldering piles of ash before they even had a chance to respond. First contact was nothing less than a devastating surprise attack.

not a bad story. I think I could like it. It's awfully wordy and Bronson gets a little carried away with the voice acting, but overall...I would listen to the next book

Historia
On Zero Day of the first and last cyberwar in human history, the internet went dark, transport and power grids collapsed and cities began to starve, showing just how vulnerable the world could be to a targeted campaign of online sabotage. This final installment of this prescient epic of civilisation collapse finds the small ragtag band of survivors come together to face a new, but eerily familiar threat - the rise of a fascist militia among the ruins of a failing country.

solid series overall
Revisado: 10-12-21
This is a good series that definitely keeps your attention. By the third book I was a little worn out on the english accent if the narrator and the use of odd turns of phrase. The writing also got a little wordy in certain scenes and certain descriptions. Definitely over the top sometimes. That being said it was a solid series and well done. Good story line and well worth the listen.

Historia
In the high mountains of Tibet, rumors are spreading. People whisper of an outbreak, of thousands of dead, of bodies pushed into mass graves. It is some strange new disease...a disease, they say, that can kill in minutes. The Chinese government says the rumors aren't true, but no one is allowed in or out of Tibet. At the Pentagon, admiral James Curtiss learns that satellite images prove that a massive genocide is underway. This is no disease. It's a weapons test. Chinese scientists have developed a way to kill based on a person's genetic traits.
