Excellent Audible Story

This is a wonderful stand-alone audible book, but I feel it is good to listen to stories in order as people from other audible books and their relationships are mentioned in the new books. This book tugged on my heartstrings a lot and had me in tears. I enjoyed reading about the relationships between Lela, her family and the Alexanders. I hope we continue to see that grow in future books. The narrator is excellent. She used different voices for each of the characters, which made it easy to follow along.

All the frog jokes

Which character – as performed by Eric G. Dove – was your favorite?

I think the narrator did all the characters very well, but you could hear the fear in Audrey"s voice so well, that it made me afraid!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Even though Audrey is scared a lot of the time, she doesn't let it stop her from doing what needs to be done.

Any additional comments?

I loved this audible book so much that that I finished it the same day. I highly recommend this book, this author and this narrator.

What did you love best about Into Thin Air?

I love how the author makes you feel like you are right there in the story with the characters. She holds your attention from beginning to end and makes you wish the story would go on forever.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ethan. He is so funny and I love how he is always trying to make Jordan jealous by flirting with Layla.

Which character – as performed by Jamie Lamchick – was your favorite?

Layla. She whines a lot when it comes to her relationship with Jordan and the narrator gets that down pat. She does it so well that you want to reach into the story and give Layla a slap and tell her to stop running hot and cold in regard to their relationship.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I did! And it was worth it!!!

I hope there are many more books in this series. I really enjoy listening to them! Good job!!!

Would you listen to Alexander Ranch again? Why?

Yes, I would and will. I am sure I miss some things when I first listen to a story as my mind sometimes wanders. However, this is an excellent book by a wonderfully new-to-me author. That in itself will ensure I listen to it again.

What did you like best about this story?

The mystery involved in everyone's powers. I want to learn more about them and hope it will be expanded upon in future books!

Which scene was your favorite?

The scene in the barn when Jordan saved Layla and we first got a sense of the power this group holds.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The beginning of the book when Jordan rescued Kayla. I loved reading how she came to trust him to keep her safe from the bad guys.

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend this book. The narration is wonderful and the intonations are great. I can't wait to listen to the next book.

Would you consider the audio edition of Cold Fear to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version, but the audio version is excellent!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Isadora Campbell. I liked the love she shows for her family and friends. She gave up so much for them. She cares so much for everyone in her life, and the compassion she shows is phenomenal.

Which scene was your favorite?

I truly loved the ending! It really got my heart racing as everything came together.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Be ready to hold on by the seat of your pants! You won't want to miss a second of the action ahead!

Any additional comments?

The narrator did an excellent job. The voices were wonderful and he made me feel as if I was part of the action. I can't wait to listen to the next audio book in the series!

This author is fantastic and her writing is sensational. You can't go wrong with her books!

Hilarious!

What did you love best about Shopping for a Billionaire?

This story is a laugh a minute! I love romantic comedy! The author knows how to set a scene and keep you wanting more!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Shopping for a Billionaire?

The scene in the men's room at the beginning of the book will keep you in stitches!

What about Tanya Eby’s performance did you like?

Tanya Eby did a fantastic job! The book would not have been as good without the tone she set from page one and the way she did the characters' voices was fantastic!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I did listen to it all at once.

It is really hard to pick just one scene in this book to comment on. If you are looking for funny, then don't pass this book up!

On the Run

Would you consider the audio edition of Cold Light of Day to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print version, so it is hard to say; however, I am finding my groove on listening to audio books. I really enjoyed this one!

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the love Scarlett Stone showed for her parents and her friend. How she would do anything for them, even take on Russia! When she loves someone, it is with her whole being.

What does Eric Dove bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I enjoyed hearing the different voices for each character, as opposed to them all sounding like me!!!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I did! Didn't stop listening even at mealtimes.

Any additional comments?

I loved reading about how embassies work and how some people have diplomatic immunity. So sad that Scarlett's father was wrongfully sent to prison years ago for espionage.

If you could sum up Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace in three words, what would they be?

Riveting, Funny, Blonde

What other book might you compare Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace to and why?

I can't think of a book to compare it to; however, the beginning reminds me so much of the movie, "Legally Blonde". The heroine going to meet her boyfriend, expecting him to propose. Very funny!

Which scene was your favorite?

When Bridgette shows up to stop Adam's wedding and all hell breaks loose. I could not stop laughing!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Bridgette FINALLY tells Ian that she loves him. I was in tears.

This is a wonderfully funny book! The narrator is wonderful and she does the voices very well.

If you could sum up Bedding the Billionaire in three words, what would they be?

Descriptive, nervewrecking, beautiful

What other book might you compare Bedding the Billionaire to and why?

My memory is not so great that I can think of a specific book. This book is like a contemporary in the sense of the story, but has very explicit sex scenes.

Have you listened to any of Ellen Lange’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I don't believe I have listened to anything by Ellen Lange, but then I am just getting started on listening to audible books. I loved that she was able to change her voice with each character.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Lucy kind of drove me crazy with her inability to commit to anything. Other than that I really enjoyed the story. It had some laugh-out-loud moments!

I highly recommend this book. I look forward to listening to more audibles in this series and by this narrator.

Ghostly Story

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend it to any friend looking for a cozy short story with ghosts. The story takes place in one day. There is a murder at a high-end clothing store and it is fun discovering who the killer is.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Edith, the ghost. I loved when she found out she was dead and enjoyed listening to her help find her killer.

Which character – as performed by Kelly Self – was your favorite?

I had some trouble differentiating between the characters. I would have to say Annie. She read her character very well.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I had some laugh-out-loud moments! I love it when a book can make me laugh.

Any additional comments?

This is the second book in the series. I am going to go back and read the first book as I think it may help me understand Annie's abilities a little more. I think it might be fun to see ghosts! At least for a little while. Thank you Pamela Dumond and Kelly Self. It was a wonderful experience.
