If anything, it discouraged whatever dreams i had of ever climbing mountains.

There are just too many characters and interloping storylines to truly enjoy this book.

NO ONE tells a story quite like David McCullough!

What did you like best about this story?

David McCullough's one-of-a-kind narration.

Which scene was your favorite?

Informative throughout.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

'Birth of a Nation.'

Though this Book tends to drag a bit (Due to its attention to detail and overall length...), McCullough's Writing and Narration cannot be denied or overlooked... a true gem.

From start to finish, you feel as if your heart is literally bleeding for the people in this book, good and bad.

What other book might you compare Unbroken to and why?

ANY unbelievable story of life and survival.

What about Edward Herrmann’s performance did you like?

Absolutely wonderful performance, truly fitting to the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

EVERY part!??? If this book doesnt move you, then youre a lifeless corpse.

Just when you think it cant possible get any tougher on the real-life characters, the situation just keeps getting worse and worse. A true testament to how much the human mind & body can endure through the amazing will to live.

Best book I’ve ever read! Greatest book of all -time? There is no emotion that this book doesn’t ignite and then some. Can’t imagine anyone not liking this, no matter what your preferred genre is. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.
