Revisado: 01-10-25
It sketches the stories of many. Inspiring. Touching. Would like more comprehensive accounts in another volume. Also more ways to help. More resources to help. Computer generated reading was very good.

Revisado: 06-10-24
Characters appealing, story not a masterpiece but interesting. I’ve read every episode. Hoping for more. Yes, “cosy, mysteries.” comfortable. Great to go to sleep by. Writers hit the mark every time. Make writing stories look easy. Narrator Dudgeon perfect. Seasoned, very talented actor. Makes the stories. Jack & Sarah: Mr. Dillon & Kitty. When will romance take off? More from these authors?

Skill and imagination
Revisado: 12-19-23
The skill & imagination of the character Enole which are only matched by the skill and imagination of the author. Unbelievable, but that is not a detractor, as is in the case of many intriguing books. Springer is just brilliant. The narrator is equally talented, I’m not sure it would be for everyone. This is a 14-year-old going on genius. Interesting emotional facets with “mum“ and brothers.

So very good. Dr. Jonas is a brilliant & caring doctor, researcher, and lifelong learner. I was struck by his humility. Not a demigod, as some physicians/scientists think themselves, he invites & inspires trust. He teaches through the best method of all: true stories. We learn through his successes AND his failures. So good I have ordered the print copy. In addition, I will be giving this book to others. He says little about his personal faith, but his father was a hospital chaplain, which encouraged him to recognize the power of spirituality & faith (of various kinds) in healing. I cannot say enough good things about this book, which informs and keeps our interest. Doctor, researcher, scientist, husband, father, and storyteller. His compassion permeates his healing book.

Historia
Benjamin Franklin is the founding father who winks at us - an ambitious urban entrepreneur who rose up the social ladder, from leather-aproned shopkeeper to dining with kings. In best-selling author Walter Isaacson's vivid and witty full-scale biography, we discover why Franklin turns to us from history's stage with eyes that twinkle from behind his new-fangled spectacles. In Benjamin Franklin, Isaacson shows how Franklin defines both his own time and ours. The most interesting thing that Franklin invented, and continually reinvented, was himself.

Thorough, objective, superb
Revisado: 01-21-23
This biography aims to be thorough & it is. Exhaustive & almost exhausting, as such detailed accounts can be. But I stuck with it, and am glad. The writer conscientiously records the strengths & the weaknesses of this great American. To me, the narrator was superb, voice pleasing and interpretation excellent. Quotes were given so that I almost felt I was hearing Benjamin himself. Fun.
I would highly recommend this book.

Great story, great information, great lesson
Revisado: 08-06-22
I learned about starting from nothing, retail, and the myriad of knowledge, skills, what to do and what to avoid aspects of building a great business. Paced well, organized expertly, presented like a story—which it is—and inspiring. Humbly gave me confidence to succeed. And to trust and obey God.
