It’s an interesting story if you like financial current events and recent history. However, there is nothing actionable. This will not help with your investments. The author is an anti-Trumper and an establishment guy. He seems shocked that the easy money policies of the Fed for decades has caused a widening of the inequality gap, yet he defines Fed credit like Ron Paul as cranks.

I wanted to quit the book many times, but I kept going as it seemed that the author was almost about to “get it”, but he never does.

I’m a fan of Robert’s but this just seemed to be a Frankenstein compilation of his old material. There’s nothing new or actionable. He also seemed to be repeating himself a lot almost like he forgot that he had just mentioned an anecdote the chapter before. He also sprinkled some new agey stuff in their which is of no use to me.

Unless you’re getting it for free, it’s an easy pass.

Interesting but too much Bible

I love pre-apocalyptic stories and believe that this is a possible scenario. I could’ve done with less prostelgzing. Understand the author strong phones about his beliefs; however he probably used about one hour discussing the Bible and God. He probably could’ve done 1/10 of that are the same desired effect. But overall initialing and fun read that I would recommend

To say this book is slow would be a massive understatement. I bought this book after seeing all the positive reviews. I'm into apocalyptic plots. Especially the ones with extra terrestrials. But after 22 hours plus of play time you only get 5 minutes of alien interactions. Most of the writing was descriptions of talk shows, news reports, and politicians' speeches. Also full of plot holes.

Good narration. Dumb story.

The author did a good job of developing the main characters but overall story was pretty stupid. Aside from the obvious plot holes, and there were many, the concept was silly and unbelievable. The book started pretty well but around the six hour mark I couldn't wait for it to be over so I could rest.
