Amazing Find!
Revisado: 09-16-24
I happened upon this book by accidentally clicking on it. My interest in the subject matter was piqued by my own experience on a genealogy website, although that’s where the commonalities ended. Still, I couldn’t stop listening as her story was so intriguing. I listen to a lot of Audible books and find so many narrators either boring, monotone, or downright irritating. However, the actors for this account were amazing, totally believable and such a pleasure to listen to. They didn’t distract from the story, but instead enhanced it and made it come alive. Bravo to the writers, actors, and most of all the author, who shared her stalking story with incredible bravery.

Historia
The Ezra Apocalypse is the only non-Catholic book included in the KJV 1611 Apocrypha. It contains many prophecies about the end times. Quoted often by the church fathers of the first and second century AD, this apocalypse reveals the rise of Islam. In chapters 11-12 there is a prophecy of a three-headed eagle symbolizing how the Roman Empire would split into three empires. The empires would die out and leave three kingdoms ruling in the last days.

Another Excellent Teaching
Revisado: 06-16-24
First I have to say that I’m writing this review with limited time and therefore may not give proper credit to Ken Johnson on another excellent book. Before him, I had no idea what this or any of the apocryphal books contained, their historical or prophetical accuracies, etc. This is another I learned so much from and am happy to add to my collection. I must also note that the narrator is so pleasant to listen to on my Audible app, as I’ve had many a good book ruined by a horrible narrator or an AI narrator. Ken Johnson’s books are always narrated perfectly. Well worth the small price I paid for this addition to my Ken Johnson library!

Another Excellent Wealth of Information
Revisado: 05-31-24
I purchase more of Ken Johnson’s books than any other author? Why? Because each and every one of his books are a wealth of well-researched biblical and historical information invaluable alongside my study of God’s Word! This one, too, did not disappoint and has helped me to understand where so many of today’s world false religious beliefs and pagan traditions originated.

The Day of the Lord will not come unless the "falling away" comes first, according to 2 Thessalonians 2:3. What is this falling away? Is it apostasy, a spiritual departure from the faith, or is it an actual physical rapture? In this book, Dr. Andy Woods gives 10 reasons to believe it is a physical rapture.

The ancient church fathers taught many things about end-time prophecy. They taught the Second Coming would be approximately 2,000 years after the First Coming (AD 32 and AD 2032). The actual writings of church fathers Irenaeus (AD 170), Hippolytus (AD 210), and Ephrem (AD 350) identify three of the ten nations that will become part of the Antichrist’s government and where the Antichrist will be born. Wealth of Information
Revisado: 03-02-24
I’m not the most eloquent of review writers, but I had to take a few moments to praise Ken Johnson’s excellent compilation of his extensive knowledge and research in this book! It was nothing less than amazing to hear what our church fathers, many the contemporaries or students of the disciples of Christ Himself, had to say and believed about the end times and their eschatologies. Ken Johnson’s own theories aline with theirs, as do mine. I took notes furiously, trying to absorb as much as my mind is capable. Will listen again and again, as this book is not for entertainment but for the serious student of Bible prophecy, and an invaluable research tool in my audible library. As an aside, the narrator was excellent, which I’ve come to discover is a rarity…easy to listen to, non-distracting, clear and concise. Highly recommend!

Most people have heard of Calvinism and Arminianism, and most know there are many problems with the extreme forms, hyper-Calvinism and hyper-Arminianism. But what did John Calvin really teach and where did his ideas come from? Learn the true Gnostic origins of Calvinism from the ancient church fathers and compare Scripture with Scripture to clearly see the trap Satan has set to divide Bible-believing Christians.

Very Informative
Revisado: 02-02-24
Ken Johnson, as always, has shared his extensive biblical knowledge and given insight into what scripture clearly states and what our church fathers and the contemporaries of Jesus believed. Excellent information and superb narration. And regarding narration…it’s so important. Even if an author has an excellent book all is lost if the narrator is hard to listen to. This narrator was excellent is every way, letting Ken’s research and knowledge go gently, pleasantly and unobtrusively to this listener/learner’s ears.

In his 1998 book, The Threat, Jacobs uncovered disconcerting reports about aliens' plans for the future of Earth. He reported that a "change" is coming; a future when very human-like hybrids would intermingle with humans in everyday life. "Soon we will all be together," the aliens said. "Soon everyone will be happy and everyone will know his place."

Horrific Narration
Revisado: 02-02-24
The narration was so horrific I stopped halfway through the book. The worst part was the narrator trying to do female voices. I cannot imagine there is a listener out there who could stand to listen to this. It was like an 80 year old man who listened to female actors from the 1960s or ‘70s and tried to copy their inflection (picture a man imitating a Stepford Wife). When he took over the part of “male” abductee same thing (mid-century American, stereotypical, Hollywood). I skipped ahead to each chapter, hoping to get past the replacement narration, to no avail (more of the same in every chapter). Not only this, but the latter chapters continued on describing abductees recollection of the “training” of “hybrids” and “hubrids” and nothing else to convince me that most of these stories are nothing more than New Agers’ fantasies. So sorry I spent $15 on this.

Overall A Good Investment
Revisado: 01-03-24
Jim Caviezel playing the part of Jesus was absolutely horrible. His narration is monotone and robotic. He so distracts from the Gospels I find myself skipping over them.
My other fault with this production is that it’s stopped working twice and I’ve had to delete and re-download each time to listen. I’ve never had that happen with any audible purchase.
Overall a good investment simply because it’s the Bible and one can and should listen over and over and over! “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” Amen! I am thankful to be able to listen to the Word wherever I am and whatever I’m doing, regardless of my criticisms of this production.

Amazing New Insights
Revisado: 05-16-23
Wonderful book with amazing new insights into Heaven from the Word of God. I am now following Dr. Ollison on YouTube and will be purchasing his book on the Holy Spirit on Kindle with audible narration. Also, I greatly enjoyed the narration by Micah Howery. His voice is smooth and pleasant and his narration flowed flawlessly. I listen to many audible books and the narrator is so important when conveying the message; yes, the narrator can “make or break” even a well-written book. I’m afraid after his narration of this wonderful book, I am forever spoiled to other narrators! For both this book and the narration, I give 5 stars!
