Utter nonsense
Revisado: 01-13-25
A lot of irrational conclusions and statements are based on unreliable sources or invented ones. The book was free so I can’t complain too much.

Much Ado About Nothing
Revisado: 08-20-24
This is a list, although a large one, of extremely irrelevant bits and pieces. Has nothing to do with masonry in a sense. I have no idea who would benefit from this.

Historia
The Go-Go Years is the harrowing and humorous story of the growth stocks of the 1960s and how their meteoric rise caused a multitude of small investors to thrive until the devastating market crashes in the 1970s. It was a time when greed drove the market and fast money was being made and lost as the "go-go" stocks surged and plunged. Included are the stories of such high-profile personalities as H. Ross Perot, who lost $450 million in one day.

After listening to the book I can honestly say that I gained no new information mainly due to the fact that the book is a combination of anecdotes and stories that seem to have no point.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Glorification of one's self, by Prince Harry
Revisado: 05-07-23
Although the author's power in reading the book leaves no one cold, the story itself is light. How paparazzies made their lives a living hell, how no one understood him, and how one’s duty only applies to others, it's hard to sympathize with a lifelong time of privilege and wealth. Even though one’s struggles are subjective, the aim to polish the ora of Prince Harry falls short.

Historia
In When McKinsey Comes to Town, two prizewinning investigative journalists have written a portrait of the company sharply at odds with its public image. Bogdanich and Forsythe have penetrated the veil of secrecy surrounding McKinsey by conducting hundreds of interviews, obtaining tens of thousands of revelatory documents, and following rule #1 of investigative reporting: Follow the money. When McKinsey Comes to Town is a a devastating portrait of a firm whose work has often made the world more unequal, more corrupt, and more dangerous.

Expose disguised as a book
Revisado: 04-25-23
Mostly finding cases where McKinsey has been part of the client’s team and then create a conclusion that 100% of the result is due to the ill will of the consulting company. A really bad book.

Jesse James and many other Old West outlaws were much more than just wild cowboys. As author Daniel Duke—the great-great-grandson of Jesse James—reveals, James and other infamous outlaws were part of a larger organization, centuries old, that has affected U.S. history from the small, rural streets of early America to the highest levels of the nation’s government, with continuing influence to this day.

Historia
Outsourcing and a trim corporate profile enabled Coke to scale up production of a low-price beverage and realize huge profits. But the costs shed by Coke have fallen on the public at large. Coke now uses an annual 79 billion gallons of water, an increasingly precious global resource, and its reliance on corn syrup has helped fuel our obesity crisis. Bartow J. Elmore explores Coke through its ingredients, showing how the company secured massive quantities of coca leaf, caffeine, sugar, and other inputs.

Extremely bias against the Coke
Revisado: 06-15-22
For some reason, the author has something against Coca-Cola Inc., and this is his testament on the matter. It does have some excellent and profound information about the company, but sadly you can hear the discontent for the company.

Historia
At just 30 years old, Sam Polk was a senior trader for one of the biggest hedge funds on Wall Street, on the verge of making it to the very top. When he was offered an annual bonus of $3.75 million, he grew angry because it was not enough. In that moment he knew he had lost himself in his obsessive pursuit of money. And he had come to loathe the culture - the shallowness, the sexism, the crude machismo - and Wall Street's use of wealth as the sole measure of a person's worth. He decided to walk away from it all.
