Some great content but the narration is ridiculous!

There are some good points here. The narration seriously detracts from the content! The person narrating is absolutely ridiculous. The voices are completely unnecessary and at times very cringe. I always listen at 2x speed. Listening at normal speed would have been unbearable with this narrator. Not all that live in the south have an accent. All Accents were totally unnecessary and a few inappropriate.

Through the eyes of a mystic!

As I listened along I enjoyed this. I don’t mind her voice as I have heard it before. She was quite famous when I was young. I knew what she sounded like & how blunt she is. I only saw her briefly in passing on talk shows or what not the parents had on. I never really delved into her or her work even though I lived my personal version of what she described first hand. This is the first book or anything she produced that I have listened to or read. I’m a Constant learner! I’m forever seeking!
I truly felt this was her personal journey through showing us exactly how her gift manifested & the path to her truth. This is her truth. This is her method and it depicts her gift. I completely received her intention. Even after all these years I found some epiphany moments within.
She displayed vulnerability, doubt, skepticism and even self sabotage. She told her story in a way that does not feed the current and past prejudicial belief systems that many freely voice when it comes to these subjects. She was direct and honest about the process even when she truly doubted her sanity. This is actually very common with truly gifted people. I have been there myself. Being gifted in this way is so far removed from normal or traditional! It truly forces conflict between what we are told we are or how we are told to be vs the true core of our existence. Some of us are Just born very different & that’s OK! She humanized the journey of being a gifted soul in a world made to mask the truth of our existence. Being gifted for some is a very painful process. It is meant to be. Think in terms of what every seed goes through to sprout.
Understandably, I get that some may not care for her delivery or what she says. I read a few people saying her experience was too far out there. Some may have felt uncomfortable. That honestly is the purpose of books like this. This book introduces you to someone that found peace in this life by having one foot in the next. There are great nuggets here. I felt her! I see her. I understand.
In contrast, I also see how her direct nature may come across sharp to some. I’m pretty blunt and direct myself so I enjoyed it. I also see how some could not begin to accept her accounts as being “real.” So many gifted people are in shock of what they have done or do on a daily basis when it comes to spirit. Even after 45 years of being Clair, spirit still manages to shock me often. Almost daily to be exact. Just when I think I have seen it all my eyes widen to something totally new. That to me is magic of it all. It is the glittery part that makes it all worth while.

This is exactly as it says. It is a very basic or beginner’s guide to the terms and definitions of the Clair Senses.

The AI is mispronouncing the Clair senses. If you are very very new to psychic ideas and concepts this is an OK starting point. Think introduction to the concept of this being a possibility for people that have no experience at all with the Clair senses or concepts.
If you have researched psychics, mediums, and the Clairs at all this will not be a good fit. It’s all info you more than likely found the first time you looked into the topic. It is a very basic guide.
It reads super dry & comes off as a definition based concept rather than speaking from experience or from the perspective of a person whom possess gifts.
The use of meditation with yoga approaches & suggesting chanting of mantras warrants more respect. Spiritually the practice of yoga and chanting mantras is not a “basic” practice at all. Pitch, tone, vibrational frequency etc require mastery . AI botched that one completely. Yoga, chanting & mantras are also not mainstream. It’s actually quite sacred and reserved for those anointed to use them. It takes great mastery to “learn” the true practices. So be mindful of the origin of that which you are introducing as a quick exercise for beginners.
Good luck to whomever finds this to be helpful. Everyone is walking their own path so I know some will find it helpful. Blessings to all. Just a suggestion though. Do your due diligence and dive into this topic by fully exposing yourself to various perspectives. Take what resonates & leave the rest. It’s a marathon not a sprint. Best wishes to all.
