Historia
Dorothy Graham is dead, which is inconvenient, not least for her. Luckily, she has planned for this eventuality. Now, if any of the truly dreadful people she is related to want to get their hands on her money, they’re going to have to do so via a fiendish difficult and frankly bizarre competition of Dorothy’s devising. After all, just because you’re dead, it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a last laugh at the expense of people who made your life miserable.

Narration was annoying
Revisado: 04-22-25
Felt like I was listening to a cartoon from the 70's. Found narration distracting and annoying. Slow start and flat ending in my opinion. Did have some funny parts, some parts were excellent, buy overall not great.

LOVE this series, but NOT the new narrator
Revisado: 02-11-25
I have listened to every book in this series prior to this one and have LOVED them. They are soothing books that make you stop, slow down and think about the simple things. The narrator has always done a beautiful job making me love the characters. The narration has been part of the reason I love these books. This book has a DIFFERENT narrator than the others and I regret to say, she is awful. Maybe if she just did not change voices for each character. I looked her up, and she is an actress I recognize and love, but the voices were either like petulant children or 90 year old ladies on crack. I could not wait for the book to end. The storyline is endearing as usual, but the narration left a lot to be desired. I normally will hear a narrator I am not used to and take a bit to "adjust" and get used to them, but I could never "adjust" to this one. I honestly would stop listening to this series if she continues to narrate.

AI narrator......not good
Revisado: 11-20-24
For a shirt story this was pretty good. The problem was the narration. Granted the AI has gotten pretty good at inflections of voice, but has not learned pauses and emotion and the gravity of situations. Make women having their lives threatened sound like a nice walk in the park. It killed the potential intensity of the storyline.

Loving this series
Revisado: 04-19-23
I loved the first book and the 2nd one has not failed to impress either. I hope this series continues. Loved all the twists in this one. Kept me engaged. Only issue I had was the timing in the narration. It was hard to tell when a chapter changed, suddenly it would be a different section of the book, but no significant pause or the saying of "Chapter 2" alerting you the "scene" had changed so it would confuse me.
