incredible story

I liked this a lot. I was hoping for more of the sharp wit and humor from the first book and when it didn’t come, I was a little bored with the story at first. I am glad I kept listening because I ended up loving the characters, the story, and the ending. The heroine has a vast inner strength you admire and I especially enjoyed getting to know one of the characters from the first book more. I still like the first better but I think some would prefer this sort of story over the first book.

Good spice, likeable characters, great mc development arc, easy listen, good narration. The tropes are basic but it was an original and authentic take while still staying simple and easy to listen to. I enjoyed it.

The book had a good plot, the world building was unique and easy to follow, characters were funny, chemistry was good, and the whole book was an easy and entertaining listen. Plus the narrator was incredible.

Loved the Main Character

Probably one of my favorite female characters. Totally incredible and badass chick. Also the main guy was all that hot alpha man goodies without the box of red flags. They had good chemistry. The storyline could’ve been more exciting. It felt slow and predictable. Still good. Nice world building and different take on vampires, so original in a lot of ways
