Historia
In Fiasco, Kentucky, there is one rule: never fall for a Foxx brother. Any woman who did, ended up dead—or so the rumor goes. Townies call it a curse. But I’ve lived it, and I won’t survive it again. I’m not a cop anymore, but I’ve seen enough danger to know that Laney Young, the beautiful stranger who just showed up in my small town, is running from it. She’s lying about where she came from and what she’s doing here. I don’t want her near my family or the quiet life I’ve made for myself. But my brothers have other plans.

I'm obsessed with this book. First book by this author and I love her writing style. It's romantic suspense. Laney is in hiding and finds herself in Fiasco, Kentucky. She lies to everyone including Grant her true identity. Grant doesn't want her near his family, but his brothers have other plans. She starts working at the distillery and living at the guest house. She constantly gets Grant riled up. When her past shows up messing with Grant, Laney's secrets begin to unravel.
I adored Laney. I loved her attitude. I loved the witty banter with Grant. She always had a comeback for everything he said to her. I loved Grant so much. He surprised me in the best way. I loved his overprotectiveness and no nonsense attitude. He craved Laney and didn't want to act on his feelings. I loved the tension. It was so palpable. The sizzling chemistry was to die for. The spice is really good in this one as well. I loved the suspense elements and the pacing of the story was good. What a great start to a new series!
Most recently I listened to the audiobook and it's fantastic! Performed in duet by Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor. These two brought the characters to life and elevated the story. Connor conveyed Grant with a deep, gruff tone that exuded his broodiness. Samantha conveyed Laney with so much sass. I loved the banter in the book and it was great to listen to it. I felt the suspense was even more intense in the audio because of the narration. I was rooting for Grant and Laney all the way. Connor and Samantha give a captivating performance in this book. You don't want to miss it!

The Fall Risk is a cute, sweet romcom novella about two neighbors that make the best out of a bad Valentine's Day. Seth and Charlotte are not looking for love. Seth is a recently divorced arborist. Charlotte is in isolation due to having a stalker and so she's always prepared with bear spray. But when disaster traps them one flight up with no way down this forces them to embrace their captivity.
I loved how down to earth Seth and Charlotte were and how they were very relatable. It was easy for me to connect to them. Most recently I listened to the audiobook and loved it so much! Performed in duet by Julia Whelan and Connor Crais. They were the perfect pairing for this book. Julia captured Charlotte's vulnerability and resilience. Connor brought so much warmness to Seth and conveyed his protective nature. Julia and Connor show a wide range of tones. Their narration had me swooning and rooting for these two. Highly recommend!

A bad play shouldn’t cause a media meltdown but I’m Kyle Bosco and I’m a competitive jerk. So of course I couldn’t just shut up. Now I must atone for my comments. Somehow that includes working at a daycare with seven year old Piper who thinks I’m her best friend. But Piper is not the one who has me tied up in knots. That job is reserved for Harper Wallace- her mother.

After a bad play causing a media meltdown Kyle is left to atone for his comments. He has to work at a daycare with Harper's daughter, Piper. Harper is the reason Kyle is in knots and it doesn't help that she hates him as well. Will they let their emotions get in the way??
I love a good single mom romance. Harper was amazing! She was sassy, independent and combative. I loved how patient she was with her kids especially with Piper. I thought the author did a wonderful job of shedding light into the life of a parent of a neurodivergent kid. It took me a bit to warm up to Kyle, but once I did I was rooting for him and Harper. Despite their circumstances Kyle was so sweet and I loved the effort he made with Harper and Piper.
Most recently I listened to the audiobook and it's fantastic! Performed in duet by Stephen Dexter and Erin Mallon. They embodied their characters. Stephen conveyed Kyle with a deep tone. He captured Kyle's arrogance in the beginning and changed his tone once Kyle got to learn more about Harper and Piper. Erin conveyed Harper with a fierce tone. She captured Harper's sass and protective nature. I also loved Erin's kid voice. It's so good. Highly recommend the audiobook!!

When Raven is ready to move out of her brother's place. Otto offers his place until she can find an apartment. One night Raven's having a nightmare and Otto comes to console her. The attraction he tries to hide comes back with her near. He agrees to make her forget her demons even for only one night. Otto is willing to break every rule to keep her. Only no one knows they both have a dark, dangerous history that's coming back to haunt them.
This is book 2 in the Moonlit Ridge series and can be read as a standalone. I loved this book so much!! I loved Otto and Raven! After a tragic past Otto seeks revenge unbeknownst to his crew. The pain and heartache he went through was so sad. I understood his overprotectiveness over Raven. Raven was such a fighter. Despite her demons she wanted to feel alive. I loved her passion for her career and her love for her family. Her dynamic with Otto was so real and natural.
Most recently I listened to the audiobook and it's fantastic! Performed in dual by Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum. These two were perfect as Otto and Raven. They embodied their characters and brought them to life. Connor captured Otto's broodiness with a deep tone. Desiree captured Raven's sass and fun side. As the story unfolds and we learn more about Otto and Raven's dark pasts their tones were more emotional. The big reveal of the tragedy had me tearing up. Connor and Desiree give a captivating performance you don't want to miss!

One heroic act damned me for eternity. With a name like Tor, I should have been a hero, just like my father and twin. Turns out I’m not. Not even close. Instead I’m the very thing we hunted. A depraved monster. I thought there was no escaping the curse. No hope for a future. And then I met my mate in the unlikeliest of places: Blackwood Asylum. A place for criminals. Power-hungry madmen. Supernatural outcasts. And her, the curvaceous writer who sees ghosts.

I was super excited to start this new spinoff series. I was immediately intrigued after reading the blurb. The setting was a little different from previous books and the characters were interesting. You have a writer who can see ghosts and other supernatural beings at this asylum. I thought the therapy session recordings added another layer to the story and narration.
The full cast narration is phenomenal. Each narrator were perfectly casted. They were exactly how I imagined the characters to sound like. I loved the cameos and loved getting inside the minds of the other characters at the asylum. As the story progressed it sets it up nicely for the next book. It does end on a cliffhanger and luckily book 2 is out already. I enjoyed listening to this one so much!

Historia
It’s not easy being a woman working in a male dominated field. Add in the fact that my uncle owns the baseball team I work for, and proving I belong here is a constant battle. Dating a player was never an option. Not if I wanted to keep a shred of dignity and respect. Then Ronan Sinclair sits down next to me in first class with his alluring blue eyes and hard-to-resist dimples. To say nothing of his kindness and charm, or his determination to convince me that a steamy vacation fling is what we both need.

Willow's uncle owns the baseball team she works for. It's not easy being a woman in a male dominated field. So there's a constant battle to keep a shred of her dignity and respect. Willow's number one rule is don't date a baseball player. But when she meets single dad, Ronan that rule seems harder to obey.
I thought this was a great sports romance! Ronan was so charismatic. I loved his relationship with his daughter. When Ronan and Willow first meet there is sizzling chemistry. Due to certain circumstances they end up sharing a room. I enjoyed the spontaneity and the fun moments they experienced on the vacation. I adored Willow. I loved that she was so easy going.
As for the audiobook narration, it was fantastic! Performed in dual by Connor Crais and Angelina Rocca. These two were amazing as Ronan and Willow. Angelina was a joy to listen to. Her range in male voices was wonderful. She captured Willow's confidence and boldness. Connor captured Ronan's affection for Willow. You can hear in his tone how Ronan was smitten and in love with Willow. I enjoyed his lighthearted tone. Overall, I loved it!

When single mom, Scarlett met Cian months ago she didn't think she would ever see him again. When he shows up in her front porch, Cian tells Scarlett he's been looking for her and may be in love with her. He needs to get married to appease his grandfather. So Cian proposes a deal to Scarlett: spend nineteen days with him to get to know eachother.
Scarlett and Cian were so cute!! I thought they had undeniable chemistry. When they reunite you could still feel the connection they had. It never went away. I loved Cian. He was persistent and very charming. Scarlett was down to earth and wore her heart on her sleeve. I loved the cameos in this book and loved learning more about what happened to the previous couples.
As for the audiobook narration, it's wonderful! Performed in duet by Connor Crais and Amelia Hugh. These two were perfect as Cian and Scarlett. Connor conveyed Cian with an exciting, light-hearted tone. Amelia is a new to me narrator. I loved her voice. It was exactly how I imagined Scarlett's voice to sound like. Amelia conveyed Scarlett with a soft tone. Both Connor and Amelia brought their characters to life.

I loved this new spinoff! I devoured the audiobook in one day. It's that good!! Henley is the boss's daughter and is assigned to be mentored by Easton. He's hoping to make partner at the firm and this is his last obstacle. But on Henley's first day it doesn't go as planned. Easton becomes intrigued and can't help being around her, always seeking her out. As they spend more time together will Easton break his own rules about relationships??
I loved Easton. After he got introduced in Finding Hayes I was super excited to read his story. I loved how he was broody, cocky and fell hard for Henley first. I loved his passion for law and pickle ball. I adored Henley. She was the sweetest person. I loved that she was independent and loyal to a fault. I also loved how Easton and Henley were both competitive and had similar interests.
Most recently I listened to the audiobook and it's wonderful. Performed in duet by Connor Crais and Andi Arndt. These two were phenomenal. Connor conveyed Easton's broodiness with a deep, somber tone that still exuded Easton's confidence. Connor had a wide range of tones narrating over 10 male characters and had different voices for each one. I swear they all sounded like different people. Andi conveyed Henley with an excited tone. She exuded Henley's optimism for working at a firm in a small town. I also loved how Andi captured the fun side of Henley with a cheerful, happy tone. Together, Connor and Andi's narration brought these characters and story to life. Highly recommend!
