This short but oh so satisfying listen delivers everything I love about her writing—my favorite, of course, being the sharp banter and the romance that feels both unexpected and inevitable. Charlotte is in self-imposed isolation after a terrifying experience, while Seth is freshly divorced and in no mood for romance. But when a Valentine’s Day disaster traps them together, their walls start to come down in ways that neither of them saw coming. Abby Jimenez does it again with her short stories! Charlotte and Seth are precious, and I love seeing them bond over and hard things together. And of course, the narrators are amazing!

This was such an easy listen/read. While it had a satisfying, it still left me wanting more! I love the characters, I hope we get more of them!!!

Outstanding readers. I normally do not like shorts, because the character and plot development is lacking. But not this one. I lived the 2 main characters; they had time to grow. The supporting characters were fun too.

All of her books put me in a great mood. They are feel good and beautifully written. This is a great short story. I audio at the gym and it was a perfect amount of time!

I needed a palate cleanser after my last book, and this was PERFECT! 🍂✨ The Fall Risk was light, feel-good, and cozy—exactly what I needed. The dual narration was absolutely spot-on 🎧💖, making the story even more immersive. And Seth’s tree facts? 🌳😂 I loved them! They added such a fun and unique touch to his character.

If you’re looking for a heartwarming listen with great narration and a little extra nature knowledge, this one is a must! 🍁💕

To make me care and literally gasp after less than an hour of knowing these characters is something only Abby Jimenez can do. The ending felt a bit rushed to me, but can’t expect too much in a short story. Bravo!

I fell in love with the stinking characters and their stinking story - again!! Abby does this to me every time but this time she was such a tease!! I need more laugh out loud moments that fill my heart, Abby. It wasn’t enough. But thank you for giggles.
