This is a “feel good”, clean, fairy tale like romance.
Revisado: 03-02-25
Although this story was quite predictable, it was well written and the characters were very endearing. There were a few “twists “, and a lot of action.
The characters felt real and the scenes were easily visualized.
The Virtual Narrator did a good job narrating but it was not as clear who was speaking all of the time as in other books. The main reason the confusion was limited is because each chapter began with which character was speaking.
The only other concern was the ending, which is great if it is to become a series. Otherwise it was slightly too abrupt for me.

This is a well written human interest and murder mystery story
Revisado: 03-02-25
This is more than just a murder mystery.?It is also a human interest addressing a couple of other controversial issues.
This novella is very well written, keeping the listener’s interest though the time of three generations. One scene flows smoothly to the next scene. Although it covers three generations, the story is very easily followed.
The narration is done with complete professionalism. I did have to speed up my listening device one level because it was dragging out the narration too much.

This is a clean, uplifting read
Revisado: 03-01-25
This novella is one those who enjoy a clean read will probably appreciate. This story addresses mating services, Christian goals, differences, commonalities, family expectations, and pursuing one’s own interests.
The virtual voice did a great job with voice fluctuating and putting emphasis in the right places.
The author presents a well writtene story that many young adults will relate to. The only negative I offer is that the ending was quite abrupt and interrupted the flow of the story. I feel it would be more complete if the last scene had a little more substance to it .

The story was fairly creative and had enough twists that it was not totally predictable.!
The virtual Narrator made enough fluctuations with her voice that it was easy to follow who was doing the talking.

This might have been an enjoyable read if not for the Narrative.
Revisado: 02-20-25
I am totally lost. Because of the large variety of characters in this book, it is nearly impossible, most of the time, for me to differentiate who is talking. The virtual Narrator does not change the fluctuation in her voice or change the tone for the various characters. She never states who is talking which leaves the reader to decipher. I finally gave up after several chapters.
If the Virtual Voice was just reading a story, her emphasis and voice would be fine if she stated who said what.
The story possibly was worth reading but as it is, it just drove me half crazy trying to figure it out.

This is not your typical “marriage of convenience “ tale. It’s better.
Revisado: 02-13-25
This is a bittersweet tale of the various directions and types that love forms .
Although this story seems predictable, it takes unpredictable twists.
The virtual Narrator did well in simply narrating but it was often confusing which character was speaking. For this reason I gave a four stars rating rather than a five stars rating.

The virtual actor did a great job in her performance.

I enjoyed the beginning and epilogue Jacob’s voice. It is more like one pictures the actual Jacob to sound. I have never read one book-except for the Bible- more than three times. I am an addict for this series.

One f Checketts' Best! Drama, action, suspense!
Revisado: 07-10-23
I believe this book to be one of Cami Checketts' best! There is so much daring, action, emotion, and family unity, topped off with a bit of humor and romance.
I love, love, the Quinn Brother series! They are all a part of the "American Dream". As incredible as it seems, I personally know of families and individuals similar to this. It is something most can only yearn for.
In this second book, the only Quinn brother who is not military nor athletic is still successful. He has become a famous Country singer. He has always been teased for his "softer" side but is still a very much loved part of his family.
Ryder Quinn is marrying Bree. The only family she has left is Jazmine. However, Jazmine was adopted when Bree was 10 and she was 8. After being separated for so many years, Bree hired a PI to find her sister. Jazmine was part of a top-secret organization. Se tried to keep Bree and her family out f her life, but Bree was the only person who ever loved her. Jazmine made a decision to attend the wedding but was on constant alert.
When Kaleb saw and briefly interacted with Jazmine, he was smitten! She was the most beautiful, interesting, mysterious woman he had ever met. He never believed in love at first sight until now.
Jazmine had always had a special place in her heart for the singer and his songs. She could never let anyone know. After the singer announced he was engaged to stop the heckling after a performance., he received a threat against his family. In order to earn some time to catch the criminal, the family went through a quick wedding that would be annulled in a few days.
Could Jazmine really go through with this? Kaleb was all for it but he didn't want Jazmine forced into it. However, he would do everything he could to win her over.
This is an action-packed, intense story that will keep the reader/listener on the edge of his/her seat! The characters are mostly all very endearing. Extreme opposite life experiences are brought into the play. Many will find this to be a very emotional tale.
As always, the characters and scenes of her story captivated the reader from the first page to the last and pulled the reader/listener into the story.
The Narrator, Stephen Dexter, did an outstanding narration and performance of this audiobook. The voices were mostly consistent, he put full meaning and energy into the story.
