What harm can one small lie do?

Forced to give up her career as a dentist, and still unemployed a year later, Valentina Knight has finally run out of options. This was really good! I can’t believe it’s so far down in the plus library and that more people haven’t read it! I don’t usually write reviews but this one definitely deserves it!

Surprised

Started out ok but got confusing really quickly. Too much internal dialog not enough action to keep my attention.

the heroic acts of Val in the last chapter seem an insult to readers intellect. very weak closure.

I really enjoyed this novel and liked the characters. Great plot twists! Well read as well.

Clever plot

This is a book that I am glad I got for free. The killer was obvious to me for a long time and Val just isn’t very likable as a lead character. Started off strong and then just fell flat. Good for background noise and not the worst book, just not worth paying for.

Very interesting. I listen to a lot of books regarding murder. I love your in this book they're not working with the typical evidence. Nor is it the cops who are really working to solve the crime. Yes, they are involved, peripherally almost. Idk keep you guessing until the end

This audiobook kept me wanting to know more. The twists and ending were great. I hope there will be a 2nd book. I love the main character and British guy :)

This one kept my attention throughout… Great narration, and storyline. Definitely a must listen for psycho thriller addicts!

Tolerated the narration to finish the story. Interesting characters, plot and twists.
It was difficult to distinguish even the female character voices from one another and only one male character’s voice was identifiable.
The book is well-worth reading in hard copy.
