I liked that this went to such detail about dealing with pain, physical and psychological and that those who will listen can help. It made me sad, but hopeful.

victim of sexual abuse, and bullying at school, bully's her peers,that try to be her friend. main character seems to be a victim of everyone, including her self. it's very emotionally draining, I can't finish it.

The redemptive process found in this novel is as raw as it is honest. This story hurt my heart, but it was worth the pain to gain a glimpse into situations I have not experienced. This story will stay with me for a long time.

As heartbreaking as this was to read in some spots, the healing portions of Sydney were truly monumental. This has become my favorite book by Kyla Stone!

this was such a deeply emotional experience. there were times I wanted to yell at Sidney because her sarcasm and anger was so much butter thewholething I just wanted to hug her and thank her for the bravery she didn't know she had.

Of course I don't like that bad things happen to people, especially children. But they do happen and I think this book helps us to understand, empathize, and maybe even identify when someone is experiencing situations outside of our experience. And I like that good wins over evil in the end. The narration was excellent too!

Love Kyla Stone's books especially the post apocalyptic ones. Decided to give this a try and couldn't stop listening. Very deep and powerful. Very true and thought provoking. The Narrator did an EXCELLENT job. Her narration made me feel like I was experiencing this story and had me in tears so many times. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep up the good work, Kyla. We need more books like this.

The book is about such a difficult, but all too common, form of violence toward young women. It was very well written and I loved how the main character was supported and helped onto the road to recovery. Well narrated also!

It depressed me in the beginning while reading about the bullying ....and how it can affect our children's self esteem.
