“Don’t be a Benedict Arnold!” In North America, this very name is synonymous with "traitor", "backstabber", and "conspirator". Yet before he defected to the British Army, Arnold’s contemporaries praised him for his heroism. What caused this man to turn on his peers and sully his name for all time?

This fascinating look into Arnold’s life unravels the bias surrounding the man, shedding light on the intent behind his infamous act.

Everyone knows his name, but do you know anything more than the most trivial fact about this man? The author did a great job of giving the historical backdrop and various factors that contributed to the most notorious traitor since Judas Iscariot. He accomplishes this without absolving his treason or belittling it. Excellent treatment.

Narrator was first class.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

He is not just a name anymore.
