Book 2 just recently popped in my library so I just listened to the last 4 chapters of BS-1 again. I’m so excited!

The awesome story and the actors are perfect as always !

I enjoyed most of this book, as I have almost all of Lexi Foss’s books. However, after trying to figure out, who done it, for the entire book, the reveal was less than exciting ☹️!

There were the usual racy sex scenes but, less descriptive violence than the previous similar books. The epilogue, however, which was a lead in to book two, was seriously intriguing; and I cannot wait for it’s release.

As always, this team of narrators did a fantastic job! Keep up the good work, Kale and Lisa!

Another great addition to this world by Lexi. I didn’t realize this was duet and was pleasantly surprised. Love the narrator’s and their voices and accents.

Upon starting this book, the reader is hurled into a dark, dystopian, war-torn world and it’s delicious. It comes with so many mysteries and secrets, which made for the most fun misunderstandings I think I’ve encountered.

Absolutely epic. Here, you’ll find just some of the tropes included:
🐾 A/B/O dynamic.
␥ Fantastic world-building.
🐾 Kn0tting.
␥ Deceit.
🐾 Royalty.
␥ Wolf shifters.
🐾 0mega h3at, nesting.
␥ Set in Reykjavik.
🐾 Rejected mates … ish.
␥ Self-sacrif!ce.
🐾 Betrayal, treason.


Early into this one, I already found myself absolutely dying for more about Eclipse Sector—that installment promises to be epic. Eagerly, but patiently waiting for more …

I went into this with very high expectations, and still, they were exceeded. Epic.

4.5 stars.


🎧 Audio:
Dual-cast narration that manages to sound like a full-cast production.
Absolutely delectable voices and perfect overall sound quality make for a stellar audio production. 5 stars.

I usually like Lexi’s books but for some reason the inner monologue in this book was so annoying, Quinlyn was so self hating that it was truly annoying. Hopefully book 2 is better.

Almost didn’t continue until I heard the voiceover for Kieran. Not many lure me in. There’s nobody like Kieran. Loved the plot, and I have read from Lexi C. Ross before. I personally enjoyed her Midnight Fae series. This opens up a new world for me. It stands good as a standalone, but it really makes me want to go back to the other books on the different sectors.

With audiobooks a voice can make or break the performance. Kale Williams Irish (and British) accent is so deep and smooth, I could listen to him all day. Lisa Zimmerman is a good balance with him. They both have so many different characters to play and they stay on point. I love that they actually have both of them speaking throughout the entire book, Unlike some audiobooks I’ve heard which have them switching at chapters. I enjoy Lexi C. Foss’s audiobooks for this very reason, and that her omniverse - romance books are deliciously juicy.

I really enjoyed this book. The world building and character development were both well done. I like the plot twists, especially that they were different enough that I didn’t guess correctly. I liked seeing the relationship develop between the two main characters. I really liked that this book was written in dual POV, so I knew the motivations behind each character’s actions and responses. This book is an Omegaverse romance and there is definitely some heat!

The narration was great! The book is dual POV with duet narration, which means the male narrator reads the chapters from male POV and all the male spoken parts. Same with the female narrator. Both narrators met my personal good narration criteria: pleasant voice, good emotions, tone, speed, and pronunciation. I will definitely listen to both again.
