4.5 Stars ⭐️ Capri is the first book the Meadows sisters duet. Capri just divorced her horrible ex-husband and goes on vacation with her sister to Italy. There she met Jones Archer in a candy store, but then one of his employees (he owns a boat charter business) invited her sister out. Jones and Capri decided to have a fling while she was in Italy. However, feelings began to develop. Jones is an American, operating his late father’s business. His mother is back in South Carolina, in a facility for people with dementia. After their fling in Italy, Capri and Jones discover that they lived in the same small town, but because he was only there for 3 months out of the year for last 10 years, they never crossed paths. This gave Capri and Jones time to develop their relationship. However, Capri still hadn’t fully dealt with how she and her ex-husband broke up.

Jones is a polite guy, but he has a very dirty mouth in the bedroom room. I really liked the storyline with his mother. Capri is very damaged from what happened to the point where she had trouble making big decisions, which makes perfect sense when someone went through was Capri went to. I loved that she was the one who groveled, and the characters were mature enough to work things out without unnecessary drama. The chemistry and romance between Capri and Jones was fantastic. The plot was entertaining.

Indy Valentine is a new author, and Capri was her third book. It was well paced, the characters were developed well, and she was able to capture the settings with words that made it possible for me to see in my mind’s eye. I look forward to reading more from her. The audiobook was fantastic, and Sebastian York and Stefanie Kay’s narrations were on point! They captured the emotions and spice well.

This book had all the whimsical vacation vibes. I loved the premise of getting away and letting loose, especially as Capri was a bit of an A-type, wanting to plan and control everything!! If only we all had a sister that could get us out of our head the way Collie does. The scenes were written beautifully and it was easy to imagine the beauty while they were in Italy. Jones is a broody MMC but has an insta-lust connection with Capri that they really took advantage of during their fling. Things really get interesting on the romance front when the vacation ends though.

I really enjoyed the narration! Sebastian York can do no wrong in my book and he played the broody MMC to perfection. Stefanie Kay is also extremely talented and managed the dual-style narration so well. She handled both sister’s vastly different personalities with ease.

I loved this emotional and romantic getaway of a story! Capri, the FMC, is healing from heartbreak as she takes a trip to Italy with her sister, hoping to start fresh after a painful divorce. There, she meets Jones, the MMC, an American boat charter owner, what starts as a fun vacation fling slowly turns into something deeper, even when life tries to pull them apart!
Capri is strong but still hurting from her past, and I really admired her growth throughout the book! She struggles with trust and decision-making, which felt so real and relatable. Jones, on the other hand, is calm, steady, and incredibly supportive, I loved him so much! He’s caring, sexy, and definitely book-boyfriend material! I also loved the side characters, especially Capri’s sister, Collie, she brought so much light and energy to the story!
The audiobook narration was soo good! Sebastian York brought Jones to life with his smooth, confident voice and nailed every emotional and steamy moment. Stefanie Kay was equally great as Capri, her voice had warmth and vulnerability that made you feel every bit of Capri’s journey! Together, they had such natural chemistry, making the story even better!
If you enjoy second chances, vacation romance, emotional healing, and some spice, Capri is the perfect summer listen! I already can’t wait for the next book in this series!

My first Indy Valentine book and it sure won’t be my last. I had a great experience while listening to this audiobook. The narrators Sebastian and Stefanie did a phenomenal job at bringing the main characters; Jones and Capri to life. It’s hot and lighthearted but it also has its heartbreaking and heavy moments. Definitely recommend listening to this book, but make sure to check the trigger warnings beforehand.

Dual Narration

This book gave me EVERYTHING I NEEDED! The vibes were vibing and I had the best time. This audio was literal perfection. The narrators could not have been picked any better for these characters. Sebastian York can do no wrong, and this is just another to add to my list of favorites by him. They both did a fantastic job with bringing the emotions of the story out, and really holding my attention the whole time!

I loved everything about this story. From the week in Capri to them finding each other in the states, I ate up everything! Honestly I was hooked from the very beginning with the banana runts and the silver cub comment 🤭 and the spice?? It hit, I was blushing hard over these two 🥵

This is a first for me by Indy, but absolutely won’t be the last. I loved her writing and cannot wait for more!!

I’ve recently picked up 3 book where the mom had dementia. Some are harder to read than others with the recent loss of my dad to this horrible disease. This one wasn’t bad for me but I’m making a note about it up front in case anyone else is sensitive to the topic.

Once her divorce from her cheating ex is finalized, Capri and her sister jet set off to Italy where she meets a handsome, older stranger who makes her feel alive again. So they agree to a no-strings fling even if both of them really want strings.

The spice is so very spicy and the fact that the second half of this book takes place in my home state was really fun! I love how they both healed one another and made each other stronger. They just fit. Even with their large age gap.

This book covers multiple sensitive topics so checking tw would be wise.

The audio was narrated beautifully by Sebastian York and Stefanie Kay and hearing Italian accents is everything 🫠

The perfect summer read!! Capri is recently divorced and decide to spend a week in Italy with her sister to rest her life! The first day in Capri, she meets Jones that sets out a week-long stand that either of them can’t get over. Capri and Jones had banter, tension, and amazing chemistry from the first moment that they met. I loved how Capri learns to trust and be vulnerable again as Jones shows her what it means to be a steady and supportive present in her life. Sebastian York and Stefanie Kay do an amazing job with Jones and Capri. They brought all the emotions, tension, and steamy steamy moments to life in a perfect way. All the side characters, especially Capri’s sister, added so many funny and light hearted moments to the story! This was my first Indy book and I can’t wait to go back through her backlist! Highly recommend picking this up if you want a summery beach read set in Italy filled with longing, tension, second chances, and spicy moments!

Capri & Jones' story is a great summer romance. If the dreamy vibes of Capri, Italy, don't draw you in, then the emotional story line just might. After a messy divorce from a cheating husband, Capri & her sister decide to take a trip to Italy for a week to just enjoy life. She's certainly not prepared to meet the older & very handsome gentleman, Jones. Their chemistry is instant & electric & so is the spice!🔥 Why is everything hotter abroad?

A one-week stand leaves them dizzy from sex, conversations & livin' in the moment. What Capri isn't expecting is to see Jones again. Months later, he ends up in her small town & memories of that blissful week come flooding back to both of them.

Capri is determined to move on from her painful divorce, but this "insta-love" connection with Jones has her all messed up. When Jones meets Capri, she's a breath of fresh air, someone he didn't really even know he needed. He wasn't looking for love by any means, but his draw to her was real & lustful. This man is confident in everything he does & he's determined to give Capri the space she needs to work out her emotional baggage but also makes it known that she's what he wants. He worships her body, feeds her confidence & listens to the painful, past experiences that have shaped her.

He's a man who's used to getting his way & being in control, so when Capri throws a curveball in the relationship, he's totally devastated. Despite the fact that there's miscommunication between the two, these characters really have to fight their way back to one another. Even with Capri running away so quickly in the 3rd act break-up, I did appreciate the time she took to figure out exactly what it was she wanted & Jones groveling didn't hurt either! 😏

🎧Let's talk audio: Sebastian always works for me in an age-gap romance. His deep tone & cocky but confident manner always make me like the MC he's voicing, and Jones is a sensitive & very thoughtful guy, not to mention charming. Just the type of person Capri deserves but hasn't had. Stefanie was perfect voicing Capri, who is feisty, insecure & vulnerable. She performs Capri's emotional & vulnerable moments so gracefully as she goes on a journey of self-discovery but also brings lightness & spontaneity to Jones life that he was missing. These two were great together!

I'm such sucker for a romance that takes place abroad. It's a sweet, right person, wrong time, love story that will leave you wanting to book a ticket to Italy!

This is the ultimate summer escape, it’s flirty, spicy, and set against the dreamiest Italian backdrop 🍋🇮🇹 ☀️Capri and Jones had the most adorable meet cute and instant chemistry that totally hooked me. I loved how their romance was a perfect balance between heat and heart, there’s real depth to both the characters and the plot.

🎧 The audiobook was fantastic! Sebastian York’s growly voice was the only choice for Jones, and Stefanie Kay brought so much emotion (and steam!) as Capri. This is ideal for your beach bag or hot girl summer walks
