J.R. Tootill never ceases to amaze with her brilliant mind and ability to create stories that are original with interesting characters and storylines. Characters that are likable and relatable and ones you can not get enough of. She created something very special when she created the Omega Security world and each book is just as amazing as the other, action packed stories that contain a lot of heart. Each book in the series features a different member of the Omega security team, but to get the most of the incredible world building, it is beneficial to enjoy the books in order written. This fifth book is Jake “Cobra” Mitchell and Quinn Scott’s story, a second chance romance that captivates your attention and tugs are your heartstrings the entire time. Jake is one of the newer additions to the ever growing Omega security team, Rourke’s friend since childhood, who served together. Jake and Quinn were childhood sweethearts, before he went and broke her heart, a heartbreak that inspired her to write a novel and give them the ending they should have had. Her novel did well, but she captured the attention of a stalker, and fearing what that stalker may do, she reached out to Omega security for help. They run a protective security detail like only Omega can do, with Jake in the lead because it is her, the one he let get away and the one he still loves and will protect like no other. I loved all the layers to this story and how it all played out, also loved how one thing led to another and how it all pieced together, not giving anything away, but will say the writing, plot and world building is incredible. There is never a dull moment in this book and the story has the perfect balance of drama, angst and betrayal, action, mystery, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Also loved the epilogue and getting a glimpse into the future, hoping more stories are coming from this amazing world, more Omega books and second generation books. J.R Tootill, thank you for another fantastic story and wild ride.

🎧📚🎧 Marie Hawkins, Tor Thom and Joe Arden are exceptional voice artists and were fantastic voicing these characters, humanizing them with their personality and emotions. They are naturals in their roles, delivering a perfect portrayal of each and are believable in every role. With Arden as Rourke, Thom as Jake and Hawkins as Quinn, you could not ask for a better cast, and they were just as fabulous performing the roles of all the side and secondary characters, too. These three make a great team, with voices and talent that complemented each other and a performance that keeps you riveted to the story. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

Wow another fantastic story in this series.
This series has had my heart and soul from book one, I’ve grown to love each character.

This is the first (maybe only) series that I’ve devoured and look forward to reading written in the third pov .

These stories are written so well !

The narrators did an amazing job bringing this story to life.

Tor thom is so incredibly talented ! They way he preformed so many people so distinctly is amazing. Tor paired with Joe is outstanding.

Marie Hawkins continues to impress me with her vocal range. Another book that I’m blow away with her talent !
