Okay I was not ready as Just Like Heaven hits completely different hearing it now than when I read it last year. The emotional depth and tension came alive in a whole new way. Even knowing what happens, that damn cliffhanger still had me mad all over again 😩.

Angelina Rocca as Sutton and Connor Crais as Calder were phenomenal. Their chemistry was electric, their delivery heart-wrenching, and they embodied these complex, star-crossed lovers so flawlessly. The way Calder’s obsession and Sutton’s longing bled through each line—chills. They brought Trilina Pucci’s gorgeous, violent, and forbidden world to life with so much grit and beauty. They truly deserve every Audie.

The story itself is a dark, dangerous take on a modern-day Romeo and Juliet—with bullets, tattoos, and broken rules. It’s love bathed in blood and loyalty twisted with pain. Calder is chaos and devotion wrapped in one, and Sutton’s strength and vulnerability made me ache for her.

Anyway, on to Sinning Like Hell… wish me luck because I already know I’m not emotionally ready 😭.

Absolutely loved this one! Not too long or drug out but we still felt everything they did. Diving into the second book as I type BC THAT ENDING!!!!! Omfg

Give me all those angsty Romeo and Juliet vibes! Just like Heaven by Trilina Pucci was a dark forbidden romance that left my heart racing and desperate for more of Sutton and Calder’s fated love story. This is book one in Pucci’s The Star-Crossed Series, and it’s safe to say it left me completely gutted.

Angelina Rocca and Connor Crais perform this book in duet-style narration and woah did these two bring all the steamy, undeniable chemistry between Sutton and Calder. Angelina’s soft, angelic voice captured Sutton’s innocence and passion as she gave into her desires for Calder and stood up to her parents. Connor went for a growly depth in this one harnessing all of Calder’s possessive, dominant, and dedicated demeanor. (Hello, touch her and die moments!) Both added a desperation in their performances towards the end that will leave listeners begging for more.

Overall, I enjoyed this book! If you are a fan of a forbidden new adult romance with a passionate heroine, a bad boy hero, enemy families, slow burn steamy lessons, fortune teller fates, love declarations, and a cliffhanger ending that will leave you needing more, then you will love the start of Sutton and Calder’s love story.

Holy crap, this book!!!!!

I swear to God, Trilina Pucci blows me away with every book she writes!

This is a modern day Romeo and Juliet retelling and I'm obsessed! Sutton and Calder are both stuck in lives where they are pawns and have no choice in, and find happiness and love with each other.

The connection between these 2 is just everything. Calder is a sexy bad boy and Sutton is a good girl ( kinda 😂) and when they get together it is EXPLOSIVE!!!

That cliffhanger ripped me wide open yet again, even though i knew what was coming since i arc read this duet! i can't wait to listen to book 2! Just one question Trilina, where can i get my own Calder 😂😂😂

Connor and Angelina are a freaking MASTERPIECE narrating these characters. You feel the emotions in their voices and Angelina brought out Suttons sass so well! I cant put into words what hearing Connor saying these dirty lines i love so much did to me 🤣 just all around PERFECT!

This is definitely a must listen and you NEED to grab these audiobooks right now!!!!

This was phenomenal!!! It’s been a hot minute for a book to take over my whole personality. This was funny, this was sexy, it was spicy and all consuming! My god, Calder is everything. His pov chapters made me feel so much! If you read to feel, then immerse yourself in this. Easiest 5 stars. “Now I’m baptized in you;” “The cigarette was nice, but she’s the only thing I wanted to inhale.”
Calder is fierce and protective yet so tender and raw. Connor Crais was phenomenally growly, flirty, and seductive and Angelina Rocca was fire in spicy scenes. Immediately on to book 2. I will also be reading/listening to everything Trilina Pucci writes and have already stalked her socials. You have yourself a loyal servant Ms. Pucci!

This story was gold and that cliffhanger is brutal…I fell deep into this audiobook from the get go. It’s a very Romeo and Juliet feeling story, right when the spice be spicing up you’re left longing for more and diving right into the second story! Also, why is Calder f*ing perfect!

WOW! Trilina Pucci roped me in completely with this series. I devoured both books in the same weekend and will definitely listen again and again. The writing was beautifully done and really makes you feel invested in the characters from the start. I have been a fan of Angelina Rocca and Connor Crais for years but let me tell you, THIS PERFORMANCE is award worthy. Hands down one of my top recommended books/series.

Wow this book!! What an amazing, emotional, powerful, 2 book series. Trilina Pucci you are just phenomenal. This was such a heartfelt emotional book with all the feels and the stars. The narrators were just absolutely amazing Connor Crais sir, such a powerful possessive sultry performance. Best work ever. Angelina Rocca wow so emotional...A must have must read ABSOLUTELY a must listen!!!🔥🥵🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️♥️

Omg this book was so good. Sutton & Calder story was amazing and it gives you chills every single time. It’s a Romeo & Juliet story and it was absolutely amazing to listen to this story.

Angelina Rocca did an amazing job playing Sutton and every step of the way you could hear the raw emotions and soul taking she was giving to Suttons character.

Connor Crais he never misses a beat when playing different characters and different voices he did an amazing job playing Calder.
